This app and the scooters are so annoying. Have spent I don't know how many hours trying to call customer service because the scooters keep on turning off. There are restricted areas but even after you leave them THEY DONT TURN BACK ON. So then you have to drag the scooters around to find a parking place, to end the ride, and re-start it. And if you have the day pass, when this happens you have to pay a 2 dollar fee to go again. Very angery and would not use them again if on vacation.

Dangerous! The buggy software will take over control in random places, all of a sudden and slow you down when you are in traffic. The throttle completely doesn't work anymore. Then it randomly works again. This can be so dangerous if you are trying to get out of the way. Very poorly implemented software. Frustrating and potentially unsafe! Nobody on their support teams responds when a scooter is broken and you ask for a refund. Save your money (and maybe life!) and take a taxi.

Scooters shut off when entering a restricted area but won't turn back on when back into unrestricted space. Had to walk it back to parking area 20 mins away while being charged by the minute. Parking Must be almost in the center of parking area not just close as in 2 feet away. Can not leave anywhere else. Even when they don't work. Waste of time and money. Rented 4 scooters with Lime last several days and spent $250 plus. This after wasting $40 for less than 30 mins of riding with Helbiz.

This is an update to a previous review. The ride was great after getting it to work though I really believe that the scooter should stop having power when you use up the money in your wallet... I did not have auto pay on yet my bank was charged $46.00 after the $10 I loaded was used up. I will say for the time i used it the price was fair.

Scooters are newer and more reliable than lime. I wish there were more in my immediate neighborhood- Update: I haven't been able to use Helbiz for over 2 weeks now. I've been trying to get this resolved with their support team over email, and nothing has come of it. My card was somehow blacklisted by Helbiz, and my account won't let me put a new card on. My bank says it has something to do with the Zip code bing used, but I've paid for several rides using that card previously. Very disappointed

Horrible experience and customer service. Scooter will NOT RESTART after you enter a restricted zone. Check other reviews that mention this same issue. Be prepared to spend a lot of time pushing your scooter (and paying for it!). Their customer service refuses to assist and will not offer refunds for the issues. Find another scooter before you use this company!!

The user experience of the app is really bad. It's really simple to pause the rental instead to close it and this error cost me 30 euro. I reccomend to develop a new simple user interface. I do not reccomend the use of this service.

Won't even allow me to log into the app. I reset my password 4 times and it still wouldn't work. Forget this and use any of the other scooter companies.

So far so good after first ride. Setup was fast and easy. Phone verification and driver license scan. I did this as an American away in Italy. Not sure what others are complaining about yet. Will update review if bad experience happens

Christ. I needed to ride somewhere so I walked up to one of their scooters, got the app, and put $10 in my balance. Turns out that scooter isn't rentable, there are none anywhere in this area of the city, and I can't even use that $10 unless I go to Italy(!?). I just threw $10 down the drain.
