Great, thrilling, with many different endings and possibilities. The mysterious atmosphere is possibly the best thing about this read, and the writing manages to be both stylish and enjoyable. Though I enjoyed it as a whole, I'll say that I found the first half the most entertaining--all the ambient eeriness, the initial investigation in the town, the first days inside the house were the best part. The last revelation is near impossible to guess, which is nice too, for a mystery story.

Excellent writing! Lots of intriguing virety in the game/story, I got a happy ending I wasn't expecting considering how dark the game can be. I'm not a strong reader but getting there so I'm not much into replays. So for me Next... lol 😂 game.

Absolutely beautiful. Emotional, thrilling, interesting, and even humorous at times -- I couldn't get enough of this story and would damn well spend money on a sequel. I adored the characters (especially Dev, who I repeatedly romanced) and found it difficult to choose a favorite (though I did choose a favorite, of course, and I'm sure you can guess who it was based on the rest of my review). The possibilities were endless and the writing was gorgeous. Would highly recommend this game.

I was unsure on this one at first as I couldn't get into the demo until my second try. However once I read more I was quickly hooked. A very well written story, excellent mystery and fleshed out characters. It certainly isn't easy and I got bad endings even when I thought I was doing well. Each play-through has been different as certain elements seem to change with each read. Felt a couple of the romances were a bit rushed but they're still some of the best I've read from CoG.

I really enjoy stories that can give you a "bad" ending because sometimes it's justified and exciting, but the bad endings need to be fleshed out and written just as well as the good endings. In this case it felt tacked on. You sink so much time into reading and then are left with, "Well, guess you gone and got dead.....did you like the book?!" Well yeah, up until the part where it seems like they phoned it in. I don't want to re-read the whole thing for a complete ending, good or bad.

I loved it! It is well worth the money. Don't play this before you go to sleep. I downloaded the app with the intent of playing one chapter before going to sleep at midnight. I ended up staying up for seven hours to play through the whole story because I could not put my phone down. I look forward to playing other stories in their series as well as replaying this one.

Really great choices story with a great plot and fascinating characters. The choices are tough to make at times. You don't have to spend anything to make the choice you prefer, unlike somewhat similar games apps with their "diamonds" & $50 games/stories if you make the only decent choice. I loved this story so much that I immediately re-played it. People who complain about having to pay to unlock should consider developers must earn money to produce quality content & they charge only a little.

At first I thought I was too simple minded to read this and get into it, but gods be damned if my interest didn't snowball. I was literally hooked and reading until 3 am. Such an amazing story. I can't wait to play this with so many paths to pick from again! I literally ignored my boyfriend and videogame requests to get caught up in that House.
