(Update) After first use, the app can't detect the probe at all. (Previous) Was able to detect my probe but as someone mentioned it kept my phone awake all the time. And wonder why this app want to access to all the media (photos, videos, etc) in my phone. Please fix these asap.

Like some, I paired the probe with my phone. App would not work. Removed the phone pairing and paired it WITH THE APP by clicking the upper right button of the app. It paired and app worked. Bottom line, use the app to pair the probe, not your phone. It might solve the the app problem.

My experience so far is pretty good, set up was easy, the app simple and functional. I was apprehensive but a lot less so now. I even tried it inside my ninja foodi and it works.

The app is glitchy. Initially, it didn't detect the probe. I had to force the app to close and restart the app for it to detect the probe successfully. After it's paired, the temperature sensors worked.

Average, once connected wont let phone screen lock. Now having difficulty even getting it to connect.

(update 2020 08 07) stopped detecting in app only on bluetooth list... (old) The app is ok usable connection is ok . The biggest issues are for me: 1. From time to time app freezes and have to restart so reconnect etc. 2. If i put in any target for temperature i cant put phone and wait for notification it is constantly waking up screen its very annoying and battery consuming. Please update app.

the application doesn't find the probe the Bluetooth of the phone isn't being able to connect to it too. i saw that a lot of people are saying this and the seller is not fixing it BAD PRODUCT DO NOT BUY!!!

This app is ok,functions well but GUI is outdated a lil. But not a problem What is a problem though is that when the app is on with sleeping disabled in android (so it wont turn off while sampling) it flashes my screen on and off when locked. Why does that happen ?

Location and storage permissions for grill! Really?! After first time do not find any probe.

I will not give you permission to use my contacts, photos or my location. I avoid app that ask for these permissions for no good reason. Those permissions have nothing to do with how hot my food is. I bought three of these for gifts and I will be returning all three. I don't want my children tracked either. I will purchase thermometers from an American company next time.
