This game is extremely well crafted and made with passion. It's beautiful, balanced and very captivating. On my Transformer Pad TF300T the gfx really rocks, and no mistake. Playing GoF 2 THD on that device is simply incredible. Just not on my HTC One X, it's not 'compatible' it seems. And why is that I wonder? It has the exact same Tegra 3 chip as far as I know. Hence the 4 star score. Get the issue fixed, and you'll get the fifth in a heartbeat. And thx for making this great game available in the first place.

Downloaded the game, played for a bit only to be hit with a buy to play charge of about 10 bucks (could've bought 2 better games) only to realize that this game is a refresh of the old galaxy on fire without the Valkyrie update. If you played the old game there is little reason to spend money on something you already know to plot to other than pretty graphics.. I wonder if I'll get a refund if I ask nicely

A competent and enjoyable space shooter, with good graphics to boot. Sadly the controls really let this game down. Controls need to be improved and especially for tilt controls it really needs some degree of auto aim. Tilt controls and the touchscreen are by no means precision controls, but you are still required to accurately hit a moving target. Addressing these issues would easily make this a 5 star game.

This game is just great! No weird floating power-ups in space that usually ruin most games. The thought that went into this is just amazing. Everything fits together perfectly. A high quality game play as far as tablet games go. I love the ability to go wherever you want, whenever you want. Played this on an Iconia Tab; amazing game. I wish we were getting more space sims on PCs (or even consoles) but getting this little gem on my tablet has been awesome. I had no trouble buying it, but I can see how the in-app purchase might be a pain for some. I hope those issues are resolved. Still, I very much hope we get the Valkyrie add-on as well!

Fantastic gameplay, but only worth it on Android. The PC version costs $19.99. Graphics on Android could do better (chat characters are simply avatars; they don't actually show the person speaking...) but from as I understand, there currently is no better. As to the ease of control, I just wish that I could control my ship's speed better. It seems that when in battle, I catch up to my enemy way too quickly and end up almost headbutting him. There is either moderate or fast, there is no slow. (Reverse is out of the question!)

This game is really great especially considering that its free! The high graphics option looks amazing, there's a huge bug with the smoke though, for me at least. It comes out as grey boxes. Also, I'd prefer to move the analogue sticks horizontally as well as vertically. Without those two little points I'd give it 5 stars!

I've played this game through several iterations and role play a different civilization each time. There is so much to do whether you want to be a trader, bounty hunter, or people transport. Sometimes I like waging all out attacks on space stations by myself. This was totally worth $10 and it plays beautifully on my Nexus 7.

This game is easily the best I have bought for my eee pad transformer. Although it was pricey, I have had over 50 hours of entertainment for my money. Compared to a console game it is absurdly good value for money. It's not the sort of thing where you play for ten minutes at a time - there is significant content here. I would strongly recommend it to anyone with a TEGRA tablet.

I love this game, it has amazing graphics, very good story line. The space battles are exiting and trading recourses can make you into space mogul. It is not as extensive as a PC game would be but it is well worth the time and money. Comparing to majority of games on the market this is an excellent one!
