Interface is clunky and annoying. The app crashes on me at least daily. The "continue watching" and "my list" sections sometimes disappear from the home screen, and there's no other way to get to it so you have to restart the app to see them. If you try to search for a show you've been watching when this bug occurs the app won't know where you are up to or which episodes you've seen. I also frequently get a "you need to be connected to the internet" error screen upon launching the app, despite definitely having internet connection. The next episode button pops up before the end of an episode and then disappears seconds later so your choices are to skip the final 40 seconds of your show, or have to manually restart the next episode. No fast forward or jump forward or backwards a few seconds options. Trying to search for where you are up to is frustrating and usually ends with you having to re-watch a minute or so of the show. Very limited selection of shows, and a lot of really awful filler content to try to hide this fact. Definitely not worth paying for.

Pointless app. I got it free with my Telstra. It's the only reason they can get anyone to try it. It fails it's basic function, you cannot watch anything listed. Developers need to be shot. When you try and stream to a TV it works for a bit then you just get a black screen with foxtel on it, reminding you of the company responsible for wasting your time. It clearly has never been tested and any updates just fluff to make you think someone is making it better. I'm glad Netflix and the like are doing well because they get things right. I couldn't care if foxtel went bankrupt as they have such disregard for their customers. Utter rubbish of an app.

You're missing some simple app functionalities and features. There is no stop button; multi-window and background-running are sub-par; UI design is a mess and needs to be simplified. You have great shows under your belt, but your subscription plans cost too much. Whoever is executing the development of all these bad apps, need to focus on 1 app only. Please centre your app development and design for the users and allow for better error prevention and handling. Right now its not good enough.

I have samsung galaxy and this worked fine up until a couple of months ago when I started getting PE8002 error. I can open a show and watch maybe the first 2 minutes then the error appears and the picture disappears, however, I still get the sound. If I uninstall and reinstall I can usually get it to work. But as soon as I close down and come back at a later stage the problem is there again. For something I have to pay for this is rubbish.

This app is nothing short of a disgrace. For the amount of money I pay per month, it is reasonable for me to expect the app to: 1. not crash every time I try to reopen it 2. Not screw up my phones wifi connection (no kidding, it breaks my wifi connection) 3. Allow me to clear away previously viewed shows from the resume section 4. Not crash. 5. Not crash. It's a joke. I use a Galaxy S9 so it's not exactly as if I'm using an underpowered device/OS.

Average app that should be phenomenal. It works ok, the interface is not smooth and it's layout is poorly thought out. Put some money into improving your app and you'll have people stay on, especially since you've got great shows. Really look hard at the market you're in and your overall business plan because you're wasting money and losing market share.

To be honest - the app really isn't great. In the short time I've had Foxtel Now, I've already had several shows fail to cast and the WatchList no longer shows new episodes of the shows that I've added to it, plus the interface is clunky and missing key features (ie when a show is cast, there's no way to skip forward or go back from the app). Considering co's like Netflix can offer a more stable platform with more features at a fraction of the cost, it's no wonder there's so many poor reviews.

I don't have any issues with the app but Foxtel now is a joke. I'm here for Game of Thrones and will be gone asap. I can't customise my packs like last year. I'd prefer the the Pop and Drama packs for $25 but I don't get to choose what I'm paying for... The company only push you to give them even more money. There's no value. If it wasn't for Game of Thrones I'd continue to stay clear of the company and their disconnect with their customers.

The constant buffering in this app, regardless of your connection, is so bad, it's near impossible to watch anything at times. Seems to be that unless you try to watch something when no-one else is awake, you'll spend easily 15 minutes waiting on that buffer. I'd rate this 0 stars if possible. Foxtel clearly don't care at all about their user base.

Insane amounts of buffering (despite checking connection speed, and its 3 times what we used to have watching 4k on Netflix with no problems), horrible layout and interface, and woeful controls... the only thing that actually earns this one star is the content, which is very good... though even if it worked properly, not a great enough quality difference to justify the extra price anyway... and when you factor in all else I've said, a terrible option, foxtel cares nothing for customers
