From the creator of Sage Solitaire, comes a new Solitaire variant that breaks all the rules! Like its footwear namesake — Flipflop Solitaire is unrestrictive, creating a new game for fans of spider, klondike and other traditional Solitaires. In Flipflop you can stack down, up, or even both ways on a single stack! Need to stack an 8 on a 7, or a club on a spade? No problem! - but - Be careful, you can only move a stack of a single suit! It's fun and freeing, but still challenging and captivating. It's Flipflops for your brain. ------WHAT'S IN THE “BOX”? - Play Flipflop Solitaire from 1-4 suits for free! - Unlock 5 Suit, and 1 Suit Extended with a single in-app-purchase - Track your best times, least moves, least undos, total wins, total plays, and more - Over a hundred achievements - Unlockable backgrounds, alternate card and card back color schemes - Natural ambient binaural background audio - A strong sense of relaxation ------A WORD FROM THE DEVELOPER Flipflop Solitaire is sort of a sequel to Sage Solitaire in the sense that it's my second crack at the design problem of making a Solitaire game that feels like it was designed for your phone and not for a table. To be honest this is how I wish everyone approached sequels. Usually, a sequel takes the solution to a problem and duplicates it. This is why our expectations of game sequels are often more-of-the-same-but-better. I'd rather see more sequels that brought a renewed level of surprise and novelty, and I'm hoping that's what you find in Flipflop Solitaire. While Sage Solitaire was all about trying to capture the feeling of a tight, easy to play, tough to win, zen solitaire game, Flipflop Solitaire is about knots. In a typical Solitaire game, like Klondike, you're taking a knot of cards and untying it into sequences. Then you reverse those sequences into clean ordered stacks. In Flipflop you take your knot of cards and tie it into other, hopefully, better knots. Then you untie those knots into the final ordered stacks. Having so much control over the way your intermediary knots are constructed led to a lot more depth than I expected. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I've enjoyed discovering it. -zach

Lots of fun! But need a confirm on pressing "new game" - I accidentally tapped it when wanting to redeal, and now my stats are messed up through no fault of my own. Also, there's a bug when accidently pressing 'back' on the phone while a card is flipping, and returning to the game the card is face down and can't be flipped back.

Flip Flop Solitaire is fun and challenging enough to keep you vested in playing more.

Very cool game. Only complaint is the automatic card "jump" function. When you double tap a card/stack it's suppose to send the cards to an ideal spot. Unfortunately it is worthless. Cards go to random places, no logic to it really. This is not a problem, just do it manually. However, since it is suppose to help you when speed challenging it really ends up slowing you down. Again, that is my only complaint about a fun solitaire game.

Can't get past the tutorial. It says that I need to press a button to see turns avail but there is no button to press.

This game is such a fun take on Solitaire. The new numbered mode adds a unique type of puzzle element. The game is beautifully designed with wonderful art. The controls are solid and intuitive Although it may be tougher to use on smaller screens, as there can be many elements on the screen at a time. Definitely worth your money (although that's optional). Hope to see more from this team!

What I am noticing in the reviews is that noodlecake studios is getting the credit for inventing this game. However, I play solitaire nearly every day, and this version is a variation of klondike called Aces Up Solitaire. It happens to be my favorite type, and every detail is exactly the same as the original card game. This is why I love this game: I can take my favorite solitaire on the go, the style is clean, and noodlecake has truly delivered on this classic game.

I absolutely adore this game, the layout and design is flawless, it's challenging and fun. My only grie is a bug I've ran into lately; after playing 6 or so rounds I get the "watch and add or pay to play" message, but no matter what I do it refuses to play an ad. My phone had definitely been connected to the internet, so I've had to erase the data and restart, losing all achievements repeatedly.

I really enjoy this game! I think it's impressive to make a solitaire version that rarely backs you into a corner but that still feels challenging and meaningful. However it's very frustrating that it is portrait-mode only. I'm on a tablet and my case plays much nicer in landscape mode. If this were fixed, I would probably pay for the full version.

Haven't played solitaire games for a while. Probably not since the old Windows 95 (or earlier) computer days. I felt like playing a solitaire game and this one is really good. If I'm in the mood for a really simple relaxing game I play one suit. The difficulty goes up from there depending on how many suits you play. Clean, simple pleasing graphics.

Challenging and fun! As familiar as regular solitaire but with a new spin that breathes new life into the old game. The game's graphic designers have a whimsical aesthetic that serves as kind of a unifying theme throughout all their card games and place them a cut above other Android solitaire packs. SUGGESTION: There should be a way to reply the same hand after you have won, to improve your score. Also a way to save or synchronize hands to compete with your friends.
