Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. I've been with Flickr for years and joined Pro for the additional features, including unlimited storage. It's easy to use, and when traveling, it's come in handy to upload my photos each day and share with others. My only problem is the app wont upload my photos automatically. I need to open my gallery, then Flickr. Then the photos start to upload. Not sure why it won't do it without my help.

  2. Gerald Brazell-avatar

Everytime I attempt to establish a new password (which was required after installing the updated version of the app) none are being accepted. I am getting sort of an error message saying "no leading zeros). I am not using any leading zeros, so what gives. The app is useless if I can gain access. I have been a Flickr user since at least 2009 with Yahoo on the computer version. Somebody from SmugMug needs to reply.

  3. David R-avatar

Not working correctly! I have downloaded the 'updated app' and every time I open Flickr, I still get a message that I need to update the app, which I have already done a few times until I realized there is an issue. Very irritating! UPDATE 29/01/2020: just got a new phone and tablet PC. Same message appears. Please fix Flickr!

  4. Rachel Minor-avatar

I love Flickr! Have been a member since 2005, and continue to be a paying member. I want Flickr to survive, and wish I had some magic words of advice to get people to use it more. You won't find more awesome photography anywhere. I do think you could borrow just a few features from social media platforms- for example I would love it if I had the ability to follow specific tags to plump up my feed. It would add a ton more variety and expose me to more photographers to follow. Thank you!

  5. Farley Endeman-avatar

Every so often they have it so you have to reset your password and its highly annoying .. I have a password that's easy to remember..and now I have to come up with yet another new one...when I add words that help trigger my memory so I can remember my password more easily...it doesn't get accepted..and to think we're paying for this extra heafache..

I purchased Flickr Pro for the unlimited storage. I'd advise anyone who wishes to preserve their memories to do the same. You can view your pictures anywhere on Earth as long as you have a connection to the internet. I love this storage and you can fix your photo's whenever you want to, you can also download your pictures, one or thousands. Please give this a try. Thank you. 😊♥️😊♥️🤗

  7. Troy Litwiler-avatar

The old app was at least functional: auto-upload didn't always work, but the option was there and it worked occasionally. This latest app is nothing more than a shortcut to the website - in desktop mode! - and doesn't save your credentials, or have any of the mobile features, including auto-upload. I'm up for renewal this month - I will absolutely be finding a new service.

  8. Jim Barton-avatar

Forced to update because the old version is being left behind. Neither are working for auto-uploading photos. UPDATE: AFTER TAKING ONE SCREENSHOT, THE UPLOADR SUDDENLY STARTED AND IS UPLOADING THREE WEEKS OF PHOTOS. That is the main reason for having the app on my phone. My renewal is due 1st February and at present I am uncertain.

  9. Joshua Engler-avatar

Great app, but there are one or two features that could use work. For some reason, I never get notifications from the app, even though I have them turned on (I got notifications in a previous version). Not really a big deal... The second thing is that there is no way to view your stats from within the app. Other than those two things, the app is great. Fix the two issues I mentioned, and it would have been 5 stars.

  10. David Roberts-avatar

The app was working perfectly, but it kept bugging me to update. When I did, there was no update available. Finally, I uninstalled, then reinstalled and I got the update, but it's horrible! It mixes the desktop site and mobile app in weird ways, and asks me to go through entering my username and password each time I open it. I can't figure out how to upload a photo from my phone. I love Flickr, but the app has ruined.

  11. Jesse Joksch-avatar

New to Flickr. Won't let me add the location. Put in the precise location, and then even the State. All it says is, "No Results Found". So, according to Flickr, Oregon doesn't exist. Also Date Taken shows the date I uploaded the photo, not the date I actually took the photo. Won't let me change it. Been wanting to post on Flickr for a long time, but never had a Yahoo Account. So far, not impressed

  12. Jack Lee-avatar

I would only use Flickr when a photo I find is hosted on it. It's not bad, just not useful. Plus, I'm certain a specific type of adult content is allowed only, but I just tested and you can find all sorts. If I needed a hosting website I'd use Google. Not for me.

  13. Mike Y-avatar

A totally inept company. Bad testing, coding and support. One of the worst apps / websites I've ever interacted with. Almost impossible to change profile picture due to buggy code. Unbelievable. I have 94 pictures in my phone's download folder, yet when attempting to choose a profile pic, Flickr thinks there's only 69. What the actual XYZ is going on!? "Hello... McFly"

  14. Aidan Merritt-avatar

The new version of the app has a deal- breaking bug; it's no longer possible to toggle Auto Uploader on and off, or set it to wifi only, so a single video or lengthy burst shot and it's uploading gigabytes of data with no way to stop it. Fix that and the five stars the old app had come back.

Flickr is still the best photo-sharing site on the Internet. The photo-display quality is excellent here. I had to screw around a bit with the app (and a browser) to get logged into the new version. But once you're logged in, the new version of the app works fine. It's definitely worth the effort. Great photo-sharing site!

This app has been better than IG for years and continues to become moreso. Viewing photography is actually enjoyable here. For those struggling with the upgrade, it is a new app (as it says in the message). Remove the old, install the new, login and carry on.

  17. Iain Wagstaff-avatar

Latest update STILL doesn't work on iPad OR Android devices! None of the many updates over the past YEAR have worked either! Flickr/Smugmug simply do not care either, as they have known about this fiasco the entire time. Having no shame, and presumably obviously totally clueless as to the ongoing problems, the CEO also had the audacity to write at length about how he thought the app and customer service was good(?!!), and begged users to pay to upgrade (?!) to Professional status.

  18. Chris Edmonds-avatar

Don't take the update! After incessant nag screens I decided I might as well update. Wish I hadn't. The new app won't let me just "explore" like the old app did. I don't have a login. I just use it for reference material. I can still explore in the browser though! Out of frustration I tried to login and guess what... I got redirected to Yahoo to login which is what they say they're moving away from... and that login failed. So it's bye-bye Flickr app. You are unusable now.

  19. Steve Nordlund-avatar

Provides a very good user experience, with some new features. Everything I've tried works fluidly and is logically arranged. Love the map link in the info/data pane. There's nothing quite like Flickr for people who love photography. And I wasn't paid to say that.

  20. cricket bat81-avatar

Well done smug mug. Went on Flickr tonight got message my version of Flickr will no longer receive updates upgrade to new version. Upgraded and can't even log in now. Entered email address at log in clicked next and nothing happens. Tried a number of times.... Uodate* so I emailed Flickr explaining the issue and they just sent me a password reset link. I hadn't forgotten my password, the website just wouldn't even bring up the box to enter the password. Now seems fixed. So 3 stars.

  21. Kevin Wanner-avatar

Notifications don't work. For months, possibly a year plus, the app does not notify me of any likes, comments, etc. Even when I open the app, the notification bell doesn't show any indicator. Only if I click on it will it show the recent activity. I know several people with this issue. This is a large contributing factor to me using Flickr less and Instagram more. Fix notifications, let people receive notifications of new posts, and get support for Notes on mobile. Notes are fantastic.

  22. Alex Abraham-avatar

I am a pro subscriber and the app used to work great. However with the latest update all I get is this app will no longer receive updates and update to the latest version. When I go to play store it shows I have the latest version. When I click open, it shows we me a desktop view of the website but doesn't allow me to login telling the browser is not supported and to use chrome etc. But I am not using a browser - I am using the app

The update lately will not reset after I have done it. I feel link trapped in an update now page... Also, threatening to delete all photos from a user, and when I auto paid, when changing servers and fee structure is a terrible idea. It is better to acknowledge loyal photo pro members and find a way to not delete their work. Delete all did not happen to me. Don't confuse users of the safety of their work, or that their payment worked! Otherwise, great photo sharing site!

  24. Laura Vasser-avatar

I, like others, got tired of being nagged to update, and when there wasn't an update, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now it's simply a blank screen when I hit 'Get Started'. I will definitely be moving my photos off of Flickr and cancelling my Pro account. If I can't auto-upload from my phone, I see no use for it.

  25. Jack Spade-avatar

What a stupid upgrade. Been using this app for 10 yrs. After this upgrade, opening the app tells me to use certain preferred browsers. WHY?? Worse, the link to the suggested browsers doesn't download. And finally I'm unable to proceed further with the Flicker app since I've not installed the browser as per their recommendation. This is a dumb app now.

    2020-01-09T13:31:54.139Z

Used to love the app but it's getting less and less user friendly. I wanted to switch to using Google photos but I'm gong to have to individually download each photo to do this and I have thousands as it won't let me download albums or even multiple photos. Really not happy that I'm paying so much for this.

  27. J Fep-avatar

Very disappointing. App is not user friendly at all. It's bloody difficult just trying to update my credit card details! Had to use my wife's phone to update my details because it wouldn't let me even enter the payment update section on my phone or laptop. My credit card details finally got updated but now my wife's Flickr detail updates won't save! Flickr needs to get better quickly.

  28. Daniel Rogers-avatar

I like Flickr and have been pretty understanding of their change of format over the last few months. With that said, it's been rough to navigate. Now, it asks me every time I open it to update...even though it is fully updated 😐

  29. Adam Lazenby-avatar

This app is completely broken. It says I must update before I use the app, but I have the most recent version. I even uninstalled and reinstalled to be sure. Still it does not work. If this does not get better I might need to drop Flickr all together.

  30. Adam Peel-avatar

This app is broken to the point of being unusable. Every time you try to log in, it takes you to the sign-up page instead. When you enter your details, it tells you that your email address is already taken. So you try to log in using your email address, only for the app to take you to the sign-up page. Again. Handy tip: uninstall this piece of rubbish & use Google Photos instead.

  31. Ken Dyer-avatar

Having upgraded the App everytime I try to go in to Flickr I keep getting asked to upgrade the App - which I have already done! Most annoying. Edit: 22 Nov still no change and each time I go to use Flickr I have to select the upgrade option. When is this going to be sorted out? Why does Flickr issue an App update without making sure it works? Looking forward to Flickr resolving this very soon!

  32. Anuj Raj-avatar

The app asks me to upgrade I click on the upgrade button all done. For last few weeks I was have a reminder to upgrade again. Tired of the msg I decided to reinstall to find new app is not upgrading but is a new install. So uninstall old app renamed to Flickr(old) in app store (now that I see). Quite sneaky...could have been done much better way.

  33. John Thornley-avatar

This has turned from being the best photo sharing site ever to being the absolute worst. Why did you have to tinker with it? It was working fine as it was. Now it's just pretty much un useable, I can't switch between my two accounts and I can't even post photos. Thought this was a photo sharing site not a site you cant do what the site is supposed to be for.

  34. David Coyle-avatar

I would like to be able to type in a name of an album instead of scrolling for 10 minutes. With the Flickr app on my desktop PC auto unloading there are now thousands and thousands of photos and albums. Update: I now see the ability to search text and this includes results from my albums. All is good.

I have used the Flickr app for a while and Flickr for over a decade. This latest upgrade to the app needs some refinement. I like the double tap to fav the image Dislike that it was an update that now prevents me from turning on autosynch as it's trying to synch (re-upload) all 8000 images from my phone again This has never happened previously and it's annoying that it's happening now. Prev versions just updated this is was a completely new app. Contact via twitter was not acknowledged 😬

  36. Joseph Blewitt-avatar

I'm not able to log into the app; it keeps sending me to the website, where I'm able to log in just fine. Also, flickr links open in the browser and not this app. The app says it, not the browser, is the default for flickr links. Lastly, what happened to the previous flickr app? That seemed to work fine.

  37. Greg S-avatar

I can't log into the app because it says my browser is not compatible. I'm using Duck Duck Go's browser as my default. My browser should have nothing to do with the app... Here is the funny thing, I am able to log into my Flickr account, using Duck Duck Go, and I don't get an error saying I'm not using a compatible browser.

  38. Brian-avatar

Bee a user for a long time. Still seems broken in bits eg saving a pic from my acc to my device, phone or tablet never works and no folder found anywhere on destination device eg Flickr. Still no stats, organising of groups. It's not very social media friendly, it's hard to just share an album or link directly or simple cut and paste? It's looking a bit out of date

  39. P Arbouw-avatar

Won't upload images anymore through the app. Uploading images (not through auto upload) was terrible before ; now it simply doesn't work. Sharing from A+ Gallery to Flickr also no longer works. This App needs a much improved upload functionality. And a way to search for album (and just your own; don't care about other users).

I've been a member for 10 plus years & I highly recommend Flickr. It's the premier photo sharing site for photographers. There is a community here. This site is not just about views or likes. Photographers can connect with each other and viewers here.

  41. Larry Shreve-avatar

UPDATE: What they don't tell you (and what the app SHOULD do automatically) is it needs to be uninstalled first, THEN upgraded!! At least, that worked for me. Keeps nagging me to upgrade, but when I go to the app store it tells me I have the latest version. Needs an upgrade to the upgrade!!!!!

  42. David Sanders-avatar

I paid for the privilege of not having my photos dumped from the app last year. So did my partner who was then unable to access the app for most of the rest of the year. Now, every time I open Flickr the app says I need to update it - so I accept and it takes me to the Google Play Store where it's obvious I've already updated- but it keeps doing this every time - for months now. ???

  43. Craig Lawrence-avatar

Best photo storage platform out there. Easy to showcase images, easy to download and share. Its basically a mobile library for your work. No compression of images, lots of places to network and share.

  44. White Bull-avatar

I'm both happy and mad at flicker. Your account can be deleted without warning or being able to defend yourself. But I do like searching through the photos of others to get ideas on subjects, lighting, and other creative material for my own shutter experiences.

  45. Daniel Juarez-avatar

This app is *ALL KINDS OF UNRELIABLE*!! You have to babysit it to make sure it auto uploads (yes, I turned off Battery Optimization). And then, it sometimes gets stuck and won't upload. Trying to get past my Christmas uploads on two separate devices for over 24 hours now and it won't work!! It gets to the third item and stops with 68 items pending. Don't know what they are because the app doesn't give ANY feedback besides the number of items.

Have been a Flickr user for many years. Have recently been bugged to perform the update and have done this but it seems to make no difference. Each time I open Flickr on phone or tablet it asks me to update. Flickr has been going downhill in recent months time they read the reviews and sorted issues out.

There appears to be a problem with this app - every time I go to use it - it is telling me to go to playstore and update the app! Having both checked on playstore and supposedly updated directly from the app - I am still being told that I need to update the app and the version I have will no longer be supported by updates! Please fix the problem! not a good situation for a subscriber to find themselves in!!

  48. Michael M-avatar

Horrible upgrade experience . Nagged to upgrade or app won't receive any updates. Have tried to update from Play store but already have the latest version. Even uninstalled and reinstalled twice, once at the advice of their support staff but still get message. Seems I'm actually luck though. Those who have be able to upgrade say the new app is less functional than the old, when it works at all. Unless it's fixed I won't be renewing my pro subscription.

  49. c thery-avatar

Long time user of the free account, finally upgraded to a paid account. My fav features: full res photos, exif data, curating my content, and finding and following others to inspire new ideas for photos and experience another perspective. I wish the stats showed detail for more than just the past month.

  50. Eram Sayed-avatar

🔴error !!!! I'm unable to login my account it's saying that the email is invalid whereas I'd been using it to login for years not only but it was there before formatting my device now after reinstalling it it's become an headache. I have so many pics there don't want to lose them. Please tell me what's wrong ?!!

  51. Kittyhat-avatar

are you kidding me? the app works fine for years, it forces me to re-download it, and now I can't log in, (because it wants me to use an updated browser... while I'm using THE OFFICIAL APP) and I can't go back to the old app? cool. this app is literally worthless now on pixel 2

  52. Brian Myers-avatar

There's something wrong with the latest version. It takes forever to load the app. Uninstalled, reinstalled, same thing. When the app finally loads it always asks for a password, never did before. I'm a premium member and nothing is I do corrects the problem. Do not upgrade!

  53. Nicky Cope-avatar

Like many other people I keep being asked to update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice but still have no update and an annoying message telling me to update all the time. Reading other reviews I'm not sure I want the update anyway but I certainly don't want the reminder all the time. I used to love Flickr but they need to fix this.

  54. troryp-avatar

Same as others, nagged to update to latest version, but it doesn't replace the previous version, you have to manually uninstall it. Now getting "process system isn't responding" message and other issues with tablet that weren't there before. Used to be great app, but this update is incompetent. Uninstalling.

  55. Eric Campbell-avatar

I used to love Flickr. Then it got sold. Currently, I am having difficulty posting. A lot of stuff is getting lost in cyberspace for no good reason. My connection, data and RAM are all good, so the problem is not on my end. This was my favorite site. However, I will be forced to leave it if things don't improve again

  56. Adrie Peterson-avatar

I L💛VE Flickr! I did a LOT of research before choosing Flickr as my main social media app, and I'm super happy with my choice! 😀 The app is a tiny bit different than other social media apps I've used (and thank goodness for that!), but once I posted photos from my phone a few times, I totally have the hang of it. I like that Flickr is always being updated--I believe Flickr will keep improving and only get better because that's been my experience over the past several months. Yay for Flickr! 🥳

Can't update application. Tried every day this year! Still won't update today Jan 2020. Still will not open application. Tried Android and Web apps. Both will not open now. Situation worse every day. Nothing else to try!

  58. Jerry Leonard-avatar

I've updated the app but it continues to instruct me to update it. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it and I receive the same notification to update the app. Flickr please fix this. From reading the comments, it appears that this is affecting a majority of the people.

  59. Tammie Gobbel-avatar

I really like Flickr and have been a member for some time, but since the changes, I have to upload every single time I go in or go back. It is getting so annoying. Not sure how much longer I will stay a member!

  60. Rob Johnston-avatar

Was told to upgrade, did this but still tells me to upgrade. This is because the old version is still in the app section in your settings so you will see two apps for flicker so if you have a shortcut it opens the old app that tells you to upgrade uninstall the old version and create a new shortcut works fine hope this helps anyone

  61. Lainey G-avatar

I installed the new version of Flickr for my phone and I can't even log in anymore. It tells me to use the latest the version of chrome, Firefox or IE. I have Chrome as my default browser. I won't be uninstalling the old one until this one is fixed

  62. Łukasz Bogusz-avatar

It looks nice but not too intuitive. Uploading a photo is hidden behind the camera, editor has no comparison with the original photo and sliders don't change the photo unless you release it, gruoups and albums are hidden in options as well. You guys should think about redesigning it.

  63. Thomas Jordan-avatar

I have the same problem I've always had with this app, the auto-uploadr. It always wants to upload EVERY picture on my phone, which would take hours. I only want to upload the pics and videos i WANT to upload. Why can't i do that directly from my phone without transferring them to my laptop? I'm still paying for Flickr-Pro even though i use Instagram almost exclusively. Now I just got an email from Flickr saying they're still losing money and need help attractions new subscribers-fix the app 1st

  64. Steve Frenkel-avatar

Flickr is a fab place to display photos, artworks, collections and who knows what. It has been improved a lot during the recent couple of years. For the price of fancy cup of coffee, each month, you get a whole lot: unlimited storage and discounts on products and services that photographers need.

This new app makes it seem like there's a perpetual splash screen on my device. I had to randomly tap below the logo until a login screen came up. Everything seems to be in order now. FYI, to those having issues with the app still telling you to upgrade, that's the old app still installed on your device.

  66. Chris Greacen-avatar

Unreliable, hard to use, deeply disappointing to this longtime Flickr user. Too many complaints to list here. It's the sort of experience that makes me want to cancel my PRO account and dump Flickr altogether. Seriously, don't waste your time. I paid for this?

I find that the new version of this app does not work properly. When I run the app, it does not show a "pink number" in the bell shape notification on the top of the app when I received new notifications. The old version functioned properly with this feature. Please follow up. Thank you.

Used to have good experience uploading and organizing my photo collection but now in my 10th year of using it, the app becomes very disappointing, can't upload photos even after uninstall and reinstall, and the app didn't get much update.

  69. Glen Smith-avatar

Excellent app. Flickr Pro is the best for storing your own photos for your own benefit and for others to view. Also viewing others both category by category or searching randomly, and to follow should you wish.

  70. Rocker-avatar

It's very good but I do keep struggling to sign in and out, since they were hacked they really tightened the security up. It's probably a good thing but it does cause me lots of problems though.

  71. Mike Hannah-avatar

It keeps telling me to update on my Pixel 3. It is updated. I have to go through that screen every time I open the app. Can't find any answers in Help. I am paying for Pro and it has more problems than free apps that perform the same functions.

  72. S Mestdagh-avatar

The app used to work fine. Now on Android 10 and latest Chrome, I can't even log in. At last resort, I logged to the website, via Chrome, to download a photo and can't even do that. I have to send myself a link. Braindead! Btw, I have a pro membership and have used Flickr over 10 years.

  73. M. D. B.-avatar

Sites like Flickr just goes to show you that favoritism and political popularity are more important to people than artistic merits as a whole. It is oftentimes disheartening to see outstanding talent get largely ignored, while very popular individuals are bestowed hundreds of "like" votes for their incompetent photographic "art." But it is nothing new. You just have to mentally weed out the dross.

  74. brad matson-avatar

What a horrible app. One of the worst for storing and particularly using in the social media. This version is a pain in so many ways. But if you really want to experience it at its worst , may I suggest using on any apple product. That's where it really sucks at its best.

  75. D. Rowton-avatar

I've installed and uninstalled and back again a few times now. I message Flickr and they NEVER reply, so I presently do not have a reason to continue to use Flickr which is a shame as it can be really useful, but I simply don't have time for this s**t any longer.

  76. Paul Devall-avatar

Have been a Flickr member for years. Had hoped once it ceased to be Yahoo! the app would have seen some overhaul. So the front pages before logging in hint at changes. Still no search when looking to add to albums or groups. Not much to applaud with this upgrade.

  77. Peter Green-avatar

Its worked fine for years ... now all of a sudden it will no longer get new info so you have to update it ... bam stuck on a web based login screen ... that DOESNT work Once again something that was good is now F.U.B.A.R. if i could give it a negative score i would

  78. Ksenia Bobrova-avatar

Endless update? After last update on Android the app starts with endless cycle of "please go to store to update your app" even after latest update. I have to start the app from Play Store every time. It's getting annoying already. Hope Flickr team will fix this soon.

  79. James Dsouza-avatar

the app is the only place on earth to see the work of countless good photographers spread across the world. Also you get to know the unsung photographers, get to know the equipment, the configuration used by them to take the pic. you can learn photography by simply studying every photo. simply unmatchable world class app.

  80. Doc Huot-avatar

Updated app on phone. Constantly states I need to update each time the app is opened. Pain in the @$%&* needs to be fixed. Have a premium account and not use friendly on ipad or android.

  81. Blair M-avatar

Used to be great, but this app now sucks. Redirects to download newest version of Chrome. It's an app, it shouldn't require Chrome, that's the whole point. Lame.

  82. Mike Hicks-avatar

I'm noticing that this app doesn't display images at their full resolution. Not a problem if you're just quickly browsing, but can be an issue if you're zooming in to check finer details or read text, for instance

  83. Geoff Burns-avatar

Some limitations to Groups administration, but generally pretty good. The recent "upgrade" notification is getting bloody annoying, though. It appears every time I open Flickr, and periodically when navigating even after installing the update.

The old app worked fine for me. This one does not. Most of the time I have to go in and force stop and then clear the cache to upload photos to an album. Come on, I have had a Pro account for years!!!!!!

  85. Sophie Robson-avatar

The app asks me to sign in then won't let me sign in as I am not using chrome, Firefox or Edge. Duh, of course I am not using any of those browsers... Because i am (allegedly) using the "official" app. Worst. Update. Ever. Users can't even sign in.

  86. Chloe Williams-avatar

This site was working amazingly until the update. Now all I get is when I try to update the APP is the main screen is frozen. Totally disappointed. Would have been 5* all the way.. can't access my photos or keep upto date with go friends 😂😣

  87. George Little-avatar

The new version won't let me upload photos unless I allow the app access to my microphone??? Screw that I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Denying it permission to record audio then cuts off any attempt to upload photos. I will be deleting the app for good

  88. Henry Ani-avatar

I am not sure why I am being asked to reinstall the app from the play store even though I have it installed. Looks like the creators of this app have abandoned it completely. It is now a shadow of what it used to be.

  89. AbriPix-avatar

Cannot login for a month as the new version has been installed. You remember my three email addresses and you cannot login me with any of these. I really don't remember which one I used when I created an account 15 years ago. The era of passwords has gone into the past.

  90. Sohail Kamran-avatar

I've paid for this and reinstalle multiple times; but nothing gets uploaded manually. Its the same phone where sometime it works but most of the time manual upload doesn't. Updates/everything checked.

  91. hana baker-avatar

Have been a member since 2007. If I could give minus stars I would. Greedy. A rip off. How many corporate ways to use and screw subscribers. They steal and sell your art and photos keeping the profits from your art and photos. They tripled the pro membership fees. They shortened your subscription period. It's no longer one year.. And all done with a happy face calling their support staff. "heroes". I mean really are we third graders and this is Romper Room? I deleted my account.

  92. sk k-avatar

Like others have updated to most recent version and still getting message to update, come on sort it out.Update what a pile of dosh whenever I open it I now have to go to update on Google play press open to allow double tap to like an image. Not good to release an app with so many flaws.

  93. John Martins-avatar

This app gave us lots of space and promoted unlimit uploads. Then it said I passed my limit and cannot upload anymore. Now it says I have to remove my pictures to 1000 or the older ones will get deleted. How can I trust it if they keep on changing the rules. It's your risk. I will download all to an SD card and never trust them with my pictures again. Now I cannot find how to download picture. So will lose 1200 pictures. Thank you Flickr.

Used to be good, but now it tells you to that you need to upgrade to the latest version using a link. So you do, and it repeats this instruction every time you open the app. Apart from that it's just the same as the old version.

  95. Melissa Blank-avatar

Had some hiccups with the auto-uploader, so I'm keeping an eye on it after the latest release, but overall this is a solid app and Flickr is a reliable, easy way to share photos with friends & family and I'm grateful for their excellent customer service too.

  96. John Perry-avatar

This used to be a very good app. Recently, though, it started telling me that I had to upgrade, because Google Play would no longer upgrade automatically. I did, and now it crashes on startup.

  97. Daniel Reid-avatar

The photography shared here is of amazing quality and consideration, presented in an easy to explore interface. Other services with their limitations and gimmicks in some cases have more volume but not so often the quality and range found here.

  98. BJ Cox-avatar

I'm confused. All the app seems to do is take you to the Flickr website within the app, which then tells you what browsers to use to get the best Flickr experience, and the Flickr app is not one of them..

After initial problems getting access to my account which caused me to panic slightly, I now have full access to this great app again thanks to the help of the Flickr staff who I contacted through the "contact us" link. Thank you for a prompt resolution.

  100. Sean Moore-avatar

Updated the app (Pro version), and it has become unusable. I can't upload images anymore, despite following a number of suggestions. If this is not resolved soon, I obviously won't be renewing my subscription in two months time.
