I bought a Fingbox because of its deauther capabilities. But this thing has been a serious disappointment. It gives me notifications at 3:00am because it went offline for 1 minute. Today I left and sends me a notification that I'm gone. Then 15 minutes later I get another one saying I'm back home while still driving. It did this back and fourth several times before it stopped. With all of this going on I have absolutely no use for this thing. It is about the same size as a skeet.🤔

Never agreed to pay $59 annual for a subscription. i mean for what? This app does nothing but make you have anxiety over nothing due to unhelpful , no,excessive superflous notifications. zero mitigation ability. My router software allows me to see clients and block them at will. your app panics because a device is connecting/ disconnecting from my network. The mixed reviews some even indicatimg this app is a security vulnerability. I'm calling my credit card and getting my money back.

Thanks to your app, I manage to detect unidentified laptop connected to my house WiFi. It answered to my WiFi slow connection in these few weeks. Couldn't terminate the connection directly through your app, but at least it's a good app for me to identify any unwanted connection in the future.

We have a mesh wifi system. I just spent over an hour identifying and labeling everything on my network. I hit refresh to make sure I got everything and everything thing I labeled was reset. Fing writes over the labeled info with whatever is in their database. Which way do you think I look for devices? By the label I put on it, or by the manufacturer part number? All that time wasted... And apparently the overwrite/append option is useless.

In general brilliant, especially if we are helping someone else with IP conflicts etc and have no access to the router's admin panel. The new security tab could be improved. Right now it only shows names of the devices, which are often wrong, without showing IPs and MAC addresses.

Tracing hidden cams is a premium feature. Free trial available only after entering the card details. If that's the reason behind installing this app you can drop the idea. For me it was useless because my purpose was to check whether it really detects cams, probably would have subscribed to the premium feature as well if satisfied.

UPDATE: Turns out the problem was on my end and I got it fixed. Changing my review to 5 stars because this is the best app to see what all is connected to your wifi and it displays the name of the device as well as what it is, not just the IP.

Why does it need an active Internet connection to scan local network? I'm connected to a local router with no internet. I do have an IP and a gateway, but fing doesn't allow scanning the local network claiming I'm not on WiFi. Very strange.

Doesn't do much except list your IP devices. The list doesn't correctly label many types, for example it shows a smart lightbulb as a router.

Fantastic application as i have never seen before as it will show complete details of devices which are connected to your wifi and so on...
