Find It - Real World Document Search combines Optical Character Recognition(OCR) with Augmented Reality, to let you search for words in any physical document. Just enter in the words you need to search for, point your camera at the document, and let Find It do the rest. Find It will scan the document in real time, and highlight the words you searched for using Google's OCR technology. It's just like the CTRL-F or Command-F function on your computer! Unlike other document scanners and word search applications, Find It works in real time. You don't need to take a picture or wait several seconds for the OCR to process an image. Hold your device steady for a few seconds and enable flash for best results. For example, search for that one formula you need in a textbook, or look for a certain topic in your car's owners manual. The app works great on printed documents, including receipts, labels, textbooks, manuals and more. It works well for documents or other text on a computer which may not be searchable. Be sure to disable flash in this case. If it has (non-handwritten) text, Find It can probably search it! We're using Google's OCR library to ensure that Find It is a fast and accurate text scanner. The app supports word search in any Latin based language including English, Spanish, French, German, and many more. Note: this is not a document scanner like Camscanner or Tiny Scanner! Honestly I don't see how this app is rated so low. All you do is type in the words you're looking for and it underlines them in a yellow underline. It's dead on every time too. I used mine on my computer screen and the picture was going in and out of focus. Even garbled at times. Plus you could see all the freaky lighting coming from the computer screen and it still got every word perfectly. A++ app one of the best I've seen in a while. I definitely recommend.

WOW!! This app works great! it does exactly what is suppose to do!! (I believe that it gives better results with the flash OFF). But I am not sure about this... Excellent job guys!! The only reason I didn't give all the 5 stars in my rating, is because it supports only the latin base languages. It doesn't support the Greek language. I will give all stars when one day you include the Greek language too. 😉 👍

The app works pretty well it doeant have any issues finding most works. The reason i gave it 4 stars is because it could only find words in a video formats. you have to be constantly holding you phone up to view the text. 5 stars if a picture feature was add so i could take a picture and it would highlight the words.

I'm not sure why others are rating this app so low. It does exactly what it says (finds specific text on any printed page) and it's instantaneous! The ads are a little annoying (when you go to enter a search term) but they don't damage the experience.

It's very helpful, no you don't need to pay, just type the word the box and close your keyboard, then hold the camera over your paper or book and it'll automatically detect and underline your word(s). -RECOMMENDATION (If possible)- The only thing i wish for is a way to snap a pic that way you could copy whatever it is that you're looking for. (I use this for school work and it's helped me a couple of times.)

Love the app. However could I recommend an implentation of a sound-alert when the specific text is recognized? When you're on the move walking around and trying to find a part from thousands of items it would be useful for a sound to play for fast locating the item you need.

Very cool! I held my phone's camera over some hand written notes I took, typed in one of the words on the page, and it immediately underlined it in yellow for me to see. Great idea! It should quite useful when needed. :-)

No ads for me. Works well for my textbook and saved me time. Will continue using. It made my phone hot but it is probably my camera more than the app, but that is the only slightly negative thing

Super happy with how well this app worked. Quite surprised that it did exactly what it said it would. Used it to pull specific words out of a book for a special gift project.
