Probably the best and highest quality audio recording app for your phone. It needs a 10 band EQ and a noise reduction filter. But no other app unlocks your phones capability like this one. I can't find a way to adjust record level however. Maybe I'm just blind?

Hi, i just got your app and need you to tell me what setting to put this on for what i need and bought it for ? I have a STALKER problem, as in a Unhinged Lunatic type person who is very dangerous... and i have CCTV recording aswel as a secret hidden microphone outside my window just under the roof to capture any threatening abusive behaviour from said Stalker to give to the Police. I need to have this app set on the best high quality settings i can put it on to capture crystal clear loud audio with my outside hidden microphone that i just plug into my android phone... I am guessing in settings when i look later it will say normal and high quality or it might be very complicated... but i am in a rush to get the best settings as i have a stalker problem right now and every day after day after day, i am in danger... so i need to be able to get the best audio evidence... so please tell me the best settings ???. As i have only just bought the app and not tried it yet, i will start out with 3 stars, simply because it looks nice,,, but after i actually try the app, we will see. Not joking about the stalker thou, my life has been threated few times and the said stalker has no problem with stabbing people, this stalker is a loony, a fully fledged lunatic !

The recording sound quality (using my galaxy note 9) is simply amazing. I played a few seconds of a session back to a patient and he thought that I was still speaking to him. To someone who is not an audiophile the interface is daunting. Could I suggest that the initial screen simply present the various buttons (play, fast forward, stop etc. and maybe volume gain) with a "More" button to open the next screen for more advanced options. This would make it seem more user friendly.

So far, I've been blown away. I use recorders frequently for recording instructions, meetings, new song ideas, etc, and usually phone recordings are absolutely atrocious. This app allowed me to record stereo mics without the shoddy noise reduction or automatic level adjustment that my phone's manufacturer has installed. It's also got lots of settings that I'll probably never use, but hey, they're there if you need them. Some users complained about unintuitive UI. I didn't have an issue with it.

Worked great for years, then recently quit letting me record. Developer did not respond to requests for help. I paid for this app, but now cannot use it and have to look for an alternative. UPDATED 2021-01-10: The developer did eventually contact me and was very helpful in working with me to solve this problem, which appears to be an unusual app interaction on my device.

This has been an excellent app for the 2 years I've been using it on an LG G6 running Android 8. The In:Raw input configuration has been wonderful for recording in loud environments. Unfortunately I just upgraded to Android 9, and this configuration no longer works--recorded files are just silence (same with In:MicC). Is there a way to fix this? I really want to use this app fully again.

The recent Android 10 update has made the application redundant because of Scoped Storage. I get " Field Recorder is forbidden to write at the selected path" error message while trying to record. I'm not changing the rating for this app considering the effort that went into building this app. Kindly get this sorted sooner.

Super cluttered to look at, doesn't give you an easy to find list of the recordings you've made... very complicated and i felt instantly like i had no idea what to do. maybe only get this app if you are an experienced audio head who will understand all the complex settings. I'd like to get a refund but i can't find contact details for the developer. :(

Wow, it works! A lot of apps just promise you that it works and there is no glitches, but this one is so PRO, so many options, and that's why I said goodbye to iPhone after 10 years :) Usb-c adater to 3.5 mm stereo mic and I have great way to record any audio effect with out walking with big bulky recorder. Thanks !
