With FAIRTIQ there are no hassles, no complications, just smooth and easy travel at fair prices! How it works Shortly before boarding a vehicle, such as train, bus, tram or boat, simply swipe the "Start" button in the FAIRTIQ app. Your final destination does not need to be entered. If a conductor requests ticket validation, click the "Show ticket" button and the QR code will automatically be displayed in the app. Once you have arrived at your destination, swipe the "Stop" button in FAIRTIQ. The optimised cost for your trip is then displayed in the app. Area of validity > Switzerland and Liechtenstein You can travel throughout the entire GA route network. FAIRTIQ computes for you the best available fare for your journey. Travel for example by train with SBB between Zurich and Bern, by postbus to Verbier, by bus in St. Gallen, by tram in Geneva, or a combination of everything! Germany > VMT Verkehrsverbund Mittelthüringen You can use FAIRTIQ for your trips in the whole tariff community Central Thuringia. > Halle (Saale) You can use FAIRTIQ in the city of Halle (MDV-Tariff zone 210). However it is not yet possible to travel in the rest of the Mitteldeutsche Verkehrsverbund (MDV). > Göttingen You can use FAIRTIQ for your trips on the urban network. The price is computed based on the "GÖVB-Luftlinientarif" (beeline tariff). Austria > Vorarlberg You can use FAIRTIQ with all busses and trains for trips in the whole Vorarlberg as well as in the combi tariff with LIEmobil (Liechtenstein). > Linz You can use FAIRTIQ in the central travel zone of Linz, including the city’s Pöstlingbergbahn (cable car network). For a 30 minute journey it charged me 2.40 more than if I bought the ticket from the machine. Also it took hours to finalize my journey because it couldn't determine my location. Because of this I couldn't use the app on my way back. My gps was working on google maps so it wasn't an issue with my phone.

Works very well! Story: Arrived at Zürich Airport and ran to my train. I had no ticket yet and SBB app would not let me purchase one, as it was "not available anymore". So I just opened FAIRTIQ, swiped right, and boom chakalaka had my ticket booked. Thank you very much.

I like 2 things about FAIRTQ, the app chooses the right ticket/price for my journey, the promotions/discounts are attractive. Since I started using FAIRTQ, I have been paying less! It works without any problem and I'm 💯 percent satisfied! I hope one day it becomes a valid app for the entire Germany ❤️ FAIRTQ ❤️

2 Stars for the Concept but 0 stars for reliablity and udeability. Everytime im gonna take a bus i cant rely on it because it too often just doesnt work. Its either a connection issue or the app is just broken for multiple weeks at a time. Opening the app and buyin a ticket sometimes take 2 minuted for literally 1 buttonpress (opening app) and 1 swipe (buying a ticket).

FAIRTIQ is perfect if you occasionally take the public transport. Simple to use, reliable even if you forget to stop the travel at the end point. It would be great if it could be used in more than one region at a time (e.g Austria + Switzerland).

I admire Fairtiq: it is a real pleasure to start journey and leave apps to manage the rest. I found great not to bother with paper tickets and compliance and frequently my cost is optimized in a way I would not know to benefit eitherwise.

I'm very happy with the app. The only problem I had was with the payment account, but through paypal it´ s okay. The app itself is just amazing. You only have to watch out, that your battery is charged :)
