Description
Around 320 additives are permitted in the EU. Do you know them all? What do you eat if the list of ingredients says E 407? What is carrageenan actually used for? Is the substance also approved for organic products?
Don't buy a book that will be out of date tomorrow. This app offers you a list of the permitted additives and tries to explain the intended use to you so that you can decide for yourself whether you would rather buy a product without this additive.
All data is loaded via the Internet. Offline use is not possible in the free version. Ad-free and with information about Demeter approval in the Pro version.
Search for E numbers or traffic names possible. Unfortunately, it is again allowed to use a common name in the list of ingredients instead of the E number. In addition, however, the class name must be given: color, preservative, antioxidant, emulsifiers (stabilizers), thickeners (gelling agents), acidifiers (acid regulators), separating agents (coating agents, dipping compounds), flavor enhancers (some flavorings), sugar substitutes (artificial sweeteners), substances for other technological purposes, substances for special nutritional purposes (vitamins, modified starches).
