    I'm speaking about the app itself, not the service (which also has declined immensely by the way.) *It's really slow. *If I were to type something in the search, it jumps all the way back to the home screen. *When I select New Release or Coming soon it buffers so long, hence it's slow. *Ok I can't resist mentioning it, but delieveries of the DVDs take forever nowadays, hence it's slow... My personal recommendation for all, just use your internet browser instead. Gonna uninstall this app.

    The app itself Is convenient and usually works well. However, the service itself has REALLY DECLINED over the years, especially in the past yr. I have been a customer for over 10 years. Where it used to take 1 day for the DVD's each way, now the average is 2-4 days each way or even longer. So the turn-around time and shipping times has doubled or even tripled, yet the monthly fees are increasing every year. PAYING MORE for POORER SERVICE. Cust.Service of NO HELP, and state, "This is normal."

    It used to be very efficient and worth the money but in recent time it has really disappointed us alot. It takes twice as long to receive the movies therefore reducing your overall value.

    I just unsubscribed. I delt with this horrible service too long. I've been with Netflix for 6 years and the very slow delivery system is horrendous. It was awesome at the beginning, but it slowly got really bad. I paid for 3 movies at a time. I was lucky to get 3 a month. Now, each movie I got, I returned the next day and it'll take about 2 weeks to get another one. Everything is either "short or long wait" times. No more!! I'm going back to Red box

    I've enjoyed many years of good mail service DVD's -- this has a much deeper list of 20th Century and foreign film classics than the Netflix streaming service! (Also the occasional lost or broken disc is well handled)

    It's a pretty good app, but I have a few suggestions that I think would really make it outstanding. First, there ought to be some way to see what DVDs in the queue are also available via streaming. Second, if I'm looking at a DVD's page it would be nice if I could set it's position in the queue without having to try to find it in the queue. Otherwise, I love the convenience of renting movies by mail and this app makes it pretty to convenient to see what's coming next and search for titles to add

    Support for profiles still spotty. It worked, then it didn't for a while, but I tried and it does work as of Feb2020. Netflix did reply to my concern. Props for that.

    I love getting dvds by mail and is a wonderful service especially how you can organize the order you get your movies. However, the MAJOR drawback is the time it takes to get your movies. They say its only 2-3days and I usually watch my movies the day it arrives and send it back the next day, but the next movie doesn't arrive til at least 7-8days later. Wish it was faster. There are 2 locations (from what I've seen ) they ship from and ship to. ( Chicago and Florida ). Either way, still the same

    Love the service but this is one of the most frustrating apps to use. Constant freezes and lockups requiring me to restart it several times to search for one movie.

    Seem to be okay with the ways it changes types of music it calculate s thru algorithm' s & probability s based on one thing that they have is circumstancial evidence that could have been you to have done the heists! Or Not! Its so subjective and depending upon your personal experiences with the jim crowe south and the bad treatment and murdered more than they should have been able to do!     I received a year's subscription as a gift. I love it! I have currently watched over 50 movies, at least 1 each week. I'm not a big fan of actually going to a multiplex to see movies. Choosing and watching movies from home is perfect for me. Great gift!!!

    This app is user friendly. The graphic layout is A+. It's so much more than what I expected. So why the 4 star rating? The section labeled 'cast and crew' is lacking. It mentions the director first and then 2 other people. Those 2 might have a title. They might not. None ever have a photo of the person named, so why have a black and white faceless silhouette box? Also, it never lists the cast, which is why most people would want to see this section - with a photo.

    in Android 9 (pie) i used to get notifications that a DVD was on the way. in Android 10, no more notifications. in addition, i can't find anyway to turn on notifications. would give it 5 stars ... schleprock

    The app is great, and I have absolutely No complaints about that. My complaint is with Netflix itself. I was a member years ago when they first started. It was fantastic I did the 4 dvd at a time plan. Life happened and I didn't have NF for quite awhile. I set up service again about 2 years ago and everything was great. Now, starting last week, they have started slowing my service down. Dvds used to reach me 2 days after they shipped them. Now, I get them 3-4 days after they ship. Netflix claimed that USPS has slowed service, but I call complete bull on that. If it was USPS slowing service, why does NF show my projected receipt of my movies 3 days after shipping? This tells me it is a NETFLIX delay. The shipping center that ships to me is 6 hrs away from my home- so it makes no sense why it would take 3 days for me to get my next movie. It only took 2 days for my bank to send me something several states away, and it wasn't rushed mail at that. I am really disappointed in Netflix and will consider just purchasing movies or going to Redbox from now on. Super Disappointed.

    I had this back when it first started. You could get 6 movies out at a time plus streaming included for under 20 bucks a month. Now trying it again I'm highly dissatisfied. I sent a movie back Thursday and they still haven't processed it. I understand about the one I sent back Friday, but if sent Thursday it should have been received already and I should be getting at least one movie on Saturday. It's taking too long to send me movies and the new packages are way overpriced compared to what the used to be. You guys shut down most video stores with your affordable prices and wonderful selection and then started price gouging! Shame on you.

    I would love to use the service through the app like I did the streaming service; however, it keeps popping up an error message of wrong user name and password. I have screenshots when I created both, screenshots when I tried to log in, and screenshots proving the app is garbage because I have the info showing behind the error box saying it's wrong. Customer service acts if I'm stupid with the kind of questions that is equivalent to "did you put in the right combination of characters?" What's next, are you going to ask me I I know how to spell my name correctly too?

    As far as managing your queue, this does the job. It's major drawback is that the app as generic image placeholders instead of video artwork. This severely compromises it's usefulness as you can't identify the movie(s) without tapping the placeholder. This bug had been present for weeks. Update: Figured it out. Netflix doesn't like VPNs. Turned it off and it works.

    Cannot log on since Android 10. Update, very quickly fixed issue. Overall I like the app. Only way to get a lot of titles since they don't have them on streaming. Something has changed in my area as if I returned DVD on Monday a new DVD would arrive by Wednesday. Now it comes in Friday, so the value has dropped a lot. Other times they will say they are waiting on an item and don't ship when I have at least 150 items on my list at all times. Still the best way to find a lot of content.

    The app is OK, but the service has gotten bad recently. They send TV series seasons out of order. They just sent me season 5 of The Big Bang Theory when I had the first 4 seasons in the que before it. Last month they sent season 5 of The Americans twice. I get broken discs a lot now and they don't remove reported damaged discs from circulation. They sent me the same two broken Sin City disc twice after being reported. Service sucks now, about to dump it, like I did the streaming 2 months ago.

    Not sure if just me. Updating to latest version the process stuck at the uninstallation of the earlier version. Icon no longer displays on my MotoZ3 so unable to fully uninstall.. I'm now limited to needing to login to the website. Not a big problem, but it is the reality. Possibly the only resolve is a factory reset of my phone to fully remove the app to then reinstall. Far more inconvenient, and to need to do this ro resolve a single app, a waste of time. I guess I'll just use the website now

    I've never had a problem with any discs. I've always received discs with a one day turn around, if I mail it on Tuesday and first thing in the morning on Wednesday I get a notification that my disc was received, the next one in my queue has been mailed and I receive it on Thursday. My only issue is with ME... the last disc I had sat in the player for a little more than a year until I finally watched it. So, I basically paid for a service for a year that I didn't need to. Luckily, i watch enough Netflix (as do my authorized accounts) to make the payment worthwhile. The only thing I think DVD/Netflix needs to worry about is pricing with the impending entrance to the market of Disney and Apple and of course the continued "threat" of Amazon's Prime. DVD/Netflix may be pricing itself out of the market it once dominated.

    It's ok. Easy to access my Queue, but not easy to look through what is avalable because the movie icons are way to big. Would be nice if you could just have a text list, but because of the dumbing down of all the internet pages, prbably not likely. I go to my desktop to see more information.

    Longer wait time for DVDs which I've been renting from here off-and-on for years and I can remember when DVDs would come in almost the next day. NOW its taking almost a week. example like recently (yesterday, Mon 3pm central time) I was queued for a DVD which is now coming in this Fri which can fall on the weekend and can be sent by the upcoming Monday.

    I used to like Netflix. Now it is ok I did give it one star on the last review because the shipping was extremely slow. I went from 1 star to 3 and now 4 stars. As the shipping is alot better now. Thank you. I used to rent 2 out at a time and it was good then I went to three out at a time and it got very very slow you can look online at some other reviews and it will explain this to you it's too bad net flix used to be so good I hope they speed up shipping.

    The app no longer lets you add movies to your queue. It keeps saying "Sorry, something went wrong" but doesn't say what's wrong. The app has no updates and uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't work. Restarting my phone doesn't work either.

    App no longer keeps me logged in. When I try to log in again, it tells me that it doesn't recognize my email or password. That same email/password combination works fine on a regular computer. This app is getting more and more flaky.

    I don't really understand it. I figured you just pick the movies you want add it to your queue and they would start sending you your movies based on the order in your list and you would receive them in 2 - 3 days. Well it's been two days and they haven't even sent any movies in my list. And to top things they don't even have a help menu for this issue so I'm paying for this and they're not delivering I wouldn't recommend DVD netflix to anyone. It's a waste of money

    Every time I try to do something like go to my DVD queue or something like that I get the same bloody message that I don't have internet connection and as soon as it comes up it still goes to my queue so I have internet connection I'm tired of seeing it fix it

    The app is fine when it opens. It's been several days since it last opened. If I get to a log in screen, it tells me the app is unable to connect and to try later. Later never seems to come.

    I believe the app is working fine for the most part but I am having a difficult time with the service and since I am having a difficult time with contacting someone on the website I will write this review. DVDs have been over 3 days late and i checked yesterday to report and the earliest i could report was today and as of today that was updated to tomorrow so there is another lost day of paid service. i have missed almost a week of waiting. On top of this I am getting quite a few broken DVDs

    I used dvd Netflix for about 2 years and never had a problem but recently they have been double charging me for it I was paying my bill twice a month and didnt realize it because of the auto pay and so I canceled and asked for a refund it took over a month and I had to call the company over 10 times and they were still charging for it so I had to get a hold of the CEO Netflix himself to get my $65 back.

    My movies always come in 2-3 days but when i send my movies back to get a new one its takes like a week to finally send me a new one and no matter how many times I tell them i sent the movie back and it still says its at home it does nothing at all.     DVDs Option when I have NO Wifi The App works great there are movies on here that are not streaming. Life caught me in a Jam where Wifi signal is bad , so for now i can get 3 DVDs 2x per week delivered by mail . thats 6 DVDs week , 24 DVDs month

    Last DVD's took 4 days to arrive... and I've noticed it keeps saying my disks are 'At home' but they're not. For example, it says they are at home but also says that they will be arriving tomorrow. I'm using the free trial.. not sure if I want to continue.
