Reviews From google play store

Support for whatsapp was dropped, only reason I used this app. Its a shame. 5 stars though. Switched to dual space. The only thing I really really dislike about this app, the one thing that almost makes me remove it, is its constant naging about "ignore battery optimizations". I simply dont want it in memory, but it just keeps asking! Make it a setting, keep it from naging my head off and you got 5 stars

In these reviews: people who didn't read the explanation on WhatsApp and are misdirecting their anger. Idiots gonna idiot.. Thank you Disa for being a better alternative to WA while you had the opportunity. Their app sucks.

A msging app may not be the most exciting but Disa is by far one of my favourite & the one I have recommended the most. Three reasons for me: 1. Was tired of tracking multiple msg apps for msgs from the same ppl; 2. Space on my phone is at a premium. Fb Msngr in particular is a huge app; 3. Don't care for bloated functionality in a msging app. Disa addresses all of these. Been a user for two years. Thank you to the developers & keep up the ace work :)

Love this app way more than Facebook Messenger. My one major complaint is that contact profile images don't show up. It only shows the initials of the person's profile. It's a major hassle to scroll and read each name instead of just looking for a picture.

Whatsapp has disabled new users from register their account with Disa's plugin! And they ask not leaving bad reviews! How come? Now the app is useless! Deleting now....

its exactly what I need (when it works). I'm not sure what throws the Facebook message functionality offline but I have been relying on Disa for FB messages for over a year and for whatever reason, Disa's connectivity to FB can be flaky. It used to happen only once every two months or so and I'd have to uninstall and reinstall a plugin before I was back in business. Now, it's happening much more often. Signed up for the beta testing team, though. Maybe I can help!

Used this app without any issues for well over a year now. Latest update looks much smarter and gave improvements I didn't know I wanted till they were there. No idea how why the average review isn't higher.

Almost a perfect app, but the Telegram plugin isn't working on Huawei Nova 3i. The logs have been sent to support. From the logs it's clear that the issue happens at the authentication stage (so I cannot authenticate and start using the plugin)

Disa is awesome. WhatsApp sucks. It's a real shame that WhatsApp have blocked Disa users. All credit to the Disa developer in trying to find a way around the problem. For the record, I'll be spreading the message to dump WhatsApp and move to a better more privacy focused solution. Long live Disa!

I hate fb messenger. I don't like the pop up bubble notifications and I don't like how it, perplexing, just didn't occasionally notify me of a new message. These problems stopped when I integrated my fb account with disa. Merging different services is easy and switching messaging apps on the fly is easy and convenient.

Extremely satisfied with this as an integrated messaging app, to replace SMS and FB Messenger. Particularly I enjoy the conversation link feature, which replaces the need to have multiple conversations with the same contact over seperate apps (or threads - when using SMS feature in FB Messenger), and the ease of switching between platforms within threads. I also appreciate the compatibility with edge lighting notification banners feature (Galaxy, Android Nougat/Oreo). The new update, including curved speach bubbles and frameless images and more, coupled with the last update, enabling customisation of speech bubbles and conversation backgrounds, has really helped to establish an overall satisfying aesthetic. As always, Thank you for resisting the urge to bombard this beautiful and convenient app with adds and gimmicks! 👌

DO NOT INSTALL! Disa used to work well, I did an update and now it gives me an error saying, "WhatsApp has disabled any new user from registering..." blah blah...😠 Moving to another app that has better reviews and seems to be working just fine... the app is Parallels... REALLY!!! I've been using this app for more than one year already! No warning, just stopped working!

Excellent facebook messenger alternative. BUT since the last update the support at least of showing the animated stickers stopped. Please fix it and it would be great to even implement full support for them (sending - receiving)

Great App, it is sad my whatsapp is not working anymore, i read the notice that it will stop working this January, it would have been better to leave the whatsapp for those of us that have already login before whatsapp stopped 3rd party, don't know what else to do with disa, i suggest any of these imo or viber to replace the whatsapp. Thanks

Useless without WhatsApp support. Last update 3 months ago. Looks dead, feels dead. Update: I have asked for simple but important features (example: mark as unread, pin important conversations at the top, unread threads at the top) none of them got implemented. Actually there are no new features just some design changes that are confusing and worse than previous - for example, have you seen how small the typing field has become thanks to moving all the buttons into it. Why?

Facebook service keeps disappearing. Esxh week I have to re-add the Facebook service in order to receive messages. Sadly don't know when it stops working until will open settings and check. Logged ticket at devs website and did not hear an answer for 3 months. Strongly dissatisfied as it used to work in the past

love the app except for one thing i cannot figure out. it drastically lowers the quality of photoa i recieve. I am unsure what setting i need to change to stop this but this is a deal breaker for me.

Exactly what i was looking for. I'm just uncertain how it's impacting the battery at the moment. My only complaint is that you can't resize the text.

This app is good if you care about privacy, data leak, battery life, simplicity and no ads between chats. A good replacement for FB Messenger which is a real bloatware. Well done!

Am I right in thinking there is a permanent, unremovable notification saying that the app is working as planned? Can I remove this? Otherwise this is a good app but lacking platforms at the moment.
