This software seems be unsupported so I don't think I'll be buying the hardware which seems suitable for my needs. There have been reviews about the main problems with this for a long time now so why hasn't the developer updated it yet? No snooze, can't change the alarm sound (and volume on the hardware?). Is it supported or already abandoned? Worrying!

If your phone goes out of Bluetooth range of the thermometer, it emits a very loud piercing alarm that is the same as a smoke alarm sound. You can't turn this off or change it to another tone. The first time I used the app I went into my house to collect a dish and spent 10 minutes looking for the smoke! The second time, I couldn't stand the horrible noise and uninstalled the app.

Haven't had a single problem with the app or the thermometer. Does everything I need. No problems with bluetooth myself or the alarms. Only gave 4 stars because I wish you could set timers longer than 240 minutes for long smokes and it'd be cool if there was a widget available.

Horrible. Like many others experience it would not connect. The device is visible to bluetooth but the app won't connect. Tried reset on phone: no dice. Avoid this app and product it is very poor.

Set up is easy as long as you allow device to access location. It will not connect to bluetooth without it. As soon as you connect the device go into the app settings and switch off the allow location settings if you prefer. The device will remain connected. Seems like a good unit but i do wish the connection instructions were more specific.

App will not pair with device. My phone and tablet both pair with the meter, but not thought this app. Press the start button, just counts to 60. Can't get past first page. Re-installed 3x. Almost useless can't even set alarm w/o this app. Why would this app need access to the contact list on my phone? Finally figured it out. Why would I need to give access to my location information to my BBQ thermometer to get it to work.......

It's adequate. Would like to manage the alarms more, they automatically shut off once you turn them off once, if you had a snooze feature that would shut off for so long then turned back on that would be better. The range is very decent and the fact that you can set custom X and temperature range with their own unique name is pretty cool. Need more flexibility with the alarm settings including different alarms for different probes and custom ringtone like options

The thermometer paired right away with my S7 phone, however whenever I set a temperature alarm and it goes off the app crashes. It crashes every time without fail. I can use it to monitor temperatures, but no alarms.

App crashes when timer expires. There is a major bug and this company won't fix it. Don't buy this product. Its sold by several other vendors too, probably all have bugs.
