Coordinate Maps

Coordinate Maps allows the user to specify latitude and longitude bounds for a custom GPS map that displays the current location. The map can use an automatically downloaded satellite image or an image selected from the user's device. A downloaded image can also be exported to device storage, allowing the user to overlay features in an image editor before importing it back into Coordinate Maps. For example, the user can add property lines and building markers to a satellite image to create a GPS tax map.

Since Coordinate Maps uses GPS signal for determining location, it can be used without any Wi-Fi or data connection (although connection is required when downloading a satellite image). This makes it useful for navigating rural areas such as hunting lands and national parks.

The user can create as many different maps as desired, and select between them in the main page of the app. After a map is created, the user can still edit its name, coordinate bounds, and image. In addition to marking current location and heading, the map displays values for the user's latitude, longitude, altitude, heading, and location accuracy.
