Would give 5* for free version but I upgraded and the unlocked features are not worth! Just use the free version you're not missing out on anything behind those locks that other apps dont do better for free.

This should be called the INcomplete reference doing a search for a class brings up only one way to play that class. Wizard for example only shows one school to choose from where there should be eight. With absolutely no reference to any other material from any other search criteria. At best this app is a good reference point for a wide range of topics, but if you want to actually know about any single topic you can find more in the basic phb

Been using it for about 3 years now. But I find that certain things either don't work, or entries are simply missing. Xmpl: I rolled a Tabaxi Rogue. I get 8 skills and 2 dbl proficiencies. None of this is added or calculated and I have to write it in myself. There's info missing for simple feats like Sneak Attack, Cat's Claws, & some items like Shortbow aren't even in the database. Edit: Over 1yr since this review. Nothing above's been fixed. No added DLs on their site have been added either.

Purchased the dm tools, dm initiative tracker doesn't go back pages only forward and periodically crashes. Don't waste your money, this is garbage.

It's a good app but they don't have all the monsters it's missing the Mindflayer and Beholder among some of them

Excellent app. The way you import info took a bit to totally understand, but its very intuitive, adding your own content looks to be simple enough. I love the bookmark feature. The only thing I'd like to see added, is a menu option from the drop down on the right to go to initiative tracker and bookmarked entries from any screen, it could be enabled after purchase of the DM tools. I paid for the whole thing, and it's all very useful, I just find myself going back in and out of the initative screen to the main screen a lot., It slows the flow a bit. All in all, both the free stuff, the DM tools and the character tracker, are worth every penny.

I love it, plain and simple. As a player, it's great. As a DM, it's great. Most of my players don't even own a player's handbook, i just got them to get this app and bookmark the pages that they use often. I keep my book on me, but i never use it. The second a player names a spell i don't know, i just search it up while they're still speaking. This app has made me a better DM, and made my sessions quicker and smoother. Thanks devs for making it free!

A very useful app for quickly looking through all sorts of content which currently exists (taking a scroll through the Goods and Services tab showed me a lot of difficult-to-find information which I never even thought about before) and is not an app you need to spend any money to get good value out of it. Still, used some of my Google Rewards credits to unlock DM tools (which is the only one I'd suggest buying so far, as it's the only one I've purchased) and was not disappointed by what I found. My biggest issue is the custom content creator. While going into the forums to create content is quick and easy, formatting them properly is a bit awkward and takes a lot more work to make it look like the rest of the content pre-installed. The Generated format from the generic boxes is incomplete at best and formatted entirely differently than everything else.

Most useful D&D app I have (and I've got a few good ones). I have all the books but don't always have them with me, so this is a great mobile resource. The DM tools are great too, and everything is integrated well. For example, the initiative tracker allows you to add monsters and NPCs from the beastiary and you can quickly reference their stat blocks with the touch of a button.
