This is a well written game with lots of intrigue and feels like a season of The Tudors or Game of Thrones, it's very good. However as others have said the lack of a redo button is absolutely maddening. It's VERY easy to screw up in this game and ruin all your progress and die or worse and if that happens there's no choice redo or checkpoint, you have to play the whole game over again. Also I dislike how you have to pay in installments of $1.99 instead of a one time $5 or $6 but oh well.

I enjoy the story; too bad I can't access it. I paid for part II and everytime I try to load my part I info to part II, it just gives me a stats page as though I just ended the game. Then another 20 minute wait ensued. I pay to pass the time by, not to wait around for undelivered promises...

pretty fun, as expected from choice of games, eh? i played this game for the romance (duh) and wasn't disappointed. if only there were more romance options though, besides the 3 in part 1 (i didn't really have a favourite and ended up going with the flow). overall, pretty fun game.

Wrll-written and fun for a few hours. You have to pay for the second and third chapters and wait 20 minutes between tries. After the first through run throughs, the choices get old and end up in similar ways. The only 'good' ending so far is an incredibly boring one that ends because it deviates from the script. Sure, difficult choices, but the monarch you're saddled with for most of them is terribly erratic and your claim to the throne is nonexistent unless you buy that as well. Not enough options in my opinion. Regrets.

Could be better, during the actual events of the Season you didn't give the choice to spend time with each of your suitors, you get one choice of who to spend time with, one thats essentially forced, then you're expected to make your choice on suitor. And I'm not sure if parts 2 and 3 are available yet, it doesn't make it clear enough at the end if the next parts are not released yet, if theres a separate app, or if you need to pay to access them. It's beautifully written in most parts though.
Speedcubing & Gaming
The game is rather short for 6 dollars. I would also like for the disclaimers about which endings let you continue to the next parts to be bold or italicized to make them stand out more. Good game, but not worth 6 dollars. There are other, longer games for the same price. Also, paying more to continue in other books with different events is a bit much, I bought the full game and no ads, but the purchases to continue the game with other standings are not desirable.

Honestly pretty disappointed with this one. The story seems rushed and the romances underdeveloped. I feel like I know so little about the characters that its hard to care about them. I read the first part and decided not to go on. That being said, I feel like there are some really cool ideas and plot points buried in the story that could have really shined if they were elaborated on more.

Overall a very great game! Beautifully written and a good story. Having trouble with getting to Part Two. I passed part one and saved my game but, It won't let me continue past Part One! I watch an ad and wait twenty minutes and when I try to restore my file I just end up back at the beginning. Forcing myself to wait again in an endless circle! Please fix 😀 -Nora

Entertaining, but in need of updating! This also used to be free if you were willing to wait until the game's time had reset itself and sit through a couple of ads. This has been changed and now it's money based, which I'm struggling to find a reason to really buy it as it's only focused on the one route (the king) and leaves no room for anything else. The story is quite interesting, there is a fair amount of choice, but it needs more substance to go anywhere further and keep you entertained.

The story was fully engrossing and was so well written. I love choose your own adventure style stories and this is by far the best I've ever played. As a woman who loves women, it really did scratch a particular itch for me being so seamlessly involved in this game. I highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in romance and fantasy and even to a lesser extent political intrigue.
