app is good. Topic articles are selectable and generally pretty good. Extremely dislike the The New Yorker or The Washington post for example, limiting you to 5 articles a month w/o a subscription. I will no longer look at articles from those posts. I don't mind the advertisement for a subscription but not a force for a few articles. At times I see the same articles for 2 weeks. App is good though.

No improvments since the 8/7 reply. Update- now the amount of click bait has increased to pathetic proportions. There is other ways to make money folks. I just want to read an article on 1 page. Too many ads, cut offs, typos, much comes from across the Atlantic, need more U.S. and regional news

Earliet there were some news from sources whose credibility require checkout often. Rather than put in adverts and sensational news for eyeballs, pl provide inputs from news sources that no one can question. The updated version that installed automatically is way too India centric. I have reduced the use to almost never! really biased serving with no choice for categories and sources.

Absolutely too many advertisements. Also, the linked videos disable full screen mode, so you can't even watch/enjoy any associated news videos without opening in new app. I could include a littney of other reasons this app falls short but I'm tired of typing.

Came pre-installed as a system app so I can't get rid of it. I know how to disable it but that doesn't keep it from cluttering my phone with stuff I didn't ask for and don't want. UPDATE: The developer replied that the app is pre-installed and can't be deleted, which is what I just said. They then told me how to disable it, which I just said that I know how to do. Did the person replying even read my comment? Was it even a person who replied or a bot? This is exactly the reason I want this brain-dead garbage off my phone; not just disabled.

Complete garbage. Obviously a source for your daily dose of Fake News, much like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, HUFFPOST, ETC. No way to remove it, so it's just stuck taking up space. Do us all a favor and go away please. I'm a adult who prefers news sources that tell the real story, not lies and deception.

Takes a long time for stories to load. A lot of white pages. Images usually don't load especially because of the last few updates. The briefing page is always weeks old and refreshing doesn't do anything. I wish Samsung would get rid of this and go back to their old news system.

Stop reporting nothing. 3/4 of the news on this site is garbage. We the people are all so tired of the nonsense. It's all nothing but finger-pointing. All Politicians, and media are all to blame for the turmoil in the US these days. He that is without sin among you, let them cast the first stone.

I dislike the majority of the sources presented for the articles available. This is all about supporting large incumbent news and entertainment sources without any nod to newer, smaller sources. What I hate the most is the inability to completely uninstall or hide forever. I paid a lot of money for a phone and a service I can't customize to my liking... might as well have an iPhone.

it's a decent app though not my favorite. All too often, it is as if the app says "you're gonna see this whether you are interested or not." Also, many of the featured stories are from "pay to read" sites. The portion of it with the tabs at the top is NOT what you see when you open the app and sometimes you cannot even access it from their "briefing." so, it can be quite frustrating to use.

Wasted a year having to read mostly US and UK news in the widget, although every title I explicitly chose had the word Australia in it. Most obsessively repeated word? "Trump". Getting freshly relieved after uninstalling!

I know this is an income tool for Samsung, but it might be (is?) immoral that i cannot remove (or even disable!) this application on my Galaxy S7. The stories and advertisements are distracting to me on a near daily basis, as swiping right, past my homescreen, formerly would take me to Google Now, which is actually useful. Upgrading to Android 8 removed this, and my former launcher is no longer compatible - so "Thanks, Google", too, I guess. Regardless, Flipboard is my daily, accidental Hell.

evasive ad's that take control. lately I have been reading articles and an ad pops up. there is no way to escape. I get one screen into reading the article and it's all over. when I restart flipboard and go back to the article. the same thing happens. if I am no longer allowed to read articles, this app for me is totally useless. it's now just an ad server. goodbye flipboard, you are now uninstalled

Garbage. I almost feel sorry that someone paid to have this "developed," and for the people who did so. Zero stars. Uninstall immediately. *Frequently redirects to paywalled web sites.* Highly intrusive data collection. Big risk adding another "browser" with limited and questionable functionality to your phone, which doesn't work properly, ie won't let you click on links, doesn't always render pages properly, etc. Save yourself the time and just uninstall immediately.

I've been seeing a lot of reviews bashing this. Frankly, I like the news it offers. So what if it's not mainstream/what everyone else is reporting on. Isn't that sort of the point? My only issue is that once a story has been there for period of time it disappears and I don't see an option to search for it. Then again, I imagine I'd have that ability on the full site.

Very Far left biased reporting. I want news , not opinions from braindead people. This app was preinstalled on my device. I would be happy to rid it from my phone but I am not able. what ever happened to checking sources, getting both sides of a story, then admitting and declaiming false , negligent reporting?

keeps opening virus pop-ups in the middle of stories. "hurry only 9 gifts left". none of my other news apps do this. flipboard clearly doesnt value their readers since they keep allowing this to happen

I hate all the great stories that lead to needing a subscription to read any more than the first paragraph. If I can't read the entire story for free please do not post it! Worse than Spam!! If this continues I will remove it app. So many different need to pay leaders!!!!

flipboard has become overloaded with ads and fake news from questionable sources I can't stand to use it any more. you're hammered with ads and links to unrelated stories to the point you can't discern one from the other. I've used flipboard for many years and it was an easy to use news aggregator but it's time for me to acknowledge it's more trouble than it's worth. I will be uninstalling soon after making this review

pain in the A** to use. Won't update half of the time. Topics you have flagged to follow disappear and you can't add the topic back. Only way to get the flip part of the app to update is to shut down my tablet and restart. Just doesn't work properly.
