Reviews From google play store

The App: I like my news to show objectivity, not what someone else considers newsworthy. But what truly concerns me is why this app cannot be deleted, only disabled. It's currently eating 50MB of space, which will never be available for use elsewhere in my system, in spite of disabling. With the way companies bundle these software packages, a user ends up with any number of similar applications that load out, grab your data and then sit there unused, slowing your system down. Why & for what?

Briefing by flipboard is pretty good. Nice layout and easy to read. I really dislike the stories at the bottom that are nothing more than a way to get you to endlessly flip through pages of ads to only read 2 sentences of the story on each page that got you there in the first place. I basically ignore the ads and wouldn't buy a thing from any of them. But these companies got their viewing and made a couple of pennies.

I used to love this. Now the password management is completely messed up, specifically on the Android app. After changing my password on my iPad flipboard app where I was forced to update from my old password. I launched the app on my android phone and I was not able to login since the only login option were by using another platform account; e.g., Google, Facebook, etc. Yikes!!!! Please just let me login with the username and password I choose!

What a total waste of memory. Yes you can disable it...... Well hide it in reality as its always stealing info regardless. But the fact that any app is not able to be removed just confirms the developer refuses to lose control. WAZE navigation is Google owned too now and that's just as identity hacking...... And yes I have a strong understanding of what apps (so called free) actually do regardless of what you will reply and say. clearly do not actually read the reviews before you respond.

This app is horrible, the adds are not relevant or beautiful. They are data mining, collecting information on those using this app without our consent! Here's your suggestion: close your company down. I've disabled the app, now I want it gone. No wonder you can't delete, because most people would delete this app. If this is an editors choice app, then I don't trust the editors opinion. You are just collecting money for adds & evidently don't care about much else.

It does meet alot of my news requirements, though some of the other links it pays stair clear of, but they are not click bait as such, as they do lead to the intended story, but with many advertisements pinned to the page. Can be annoying scrolling through and trying to avoid clicking them, but its part and parcel to most apps. Overall a great app to catch up on the goings on around the world.

The interruptions when it pops up on my phone while trying to do something different is not appreciated. I wish I could shut the whole thing down but it will only let me uninstall updates. Hate this thing. It is obtrusive and it was forced on me by the makers of my phone.

**Update** No disable option. I would have done that. Thanks for using the exclamation point!!!! I am not being a jerk. You guys got a contract or paid to have your software put in. You don't need to explain anything, other than a foolproof root method for 9.6 Tab E. Currently, I don't want 2 root my device because I can't afford if it hard bricks.

I always find interesting stories on Flipboard, but it's often hard to click links within them. It's an interesting news feed of actual news. It would be nice if it were easier to keep clicking within a given publication, or to ooen items in separate tabs.

I don't use it. It says in settings that it was downloaded through Google Play store, but I know darn well I didn't download it. Plus, it won't uninstall, only the last update. Again - phone manufacturers, stop loading your devices with apps only half your buyers are going to use! OMG! When are you are going to start reading & listening! 🙄😒

Having to pay and subscribe to Liberal funded Media Outlets like the Globe and Mail to read a National news story plus pay for data is not what I call fair and this practice invites fake news sites to get into the game. I try to read all media outlets stories on the same topic in order to have a better perspective, left right and center, to filter out any or all bias associated with a topic which hopefully allows myself to have a well informed opinion.

I've never seen even ONE subject or item I've been interested in...very UNINTERESTING yet consistent. Uninstalling now. After reading all comments this is worse than I thought. THIS APP IS HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. DO NOT USE. The first 5 star rating is BOGUS...put there by company interest...nobody is going to give a high rating on useless and irrelevant information app.

I enjoyed the excellent graphics and interesting topics but this app is unfairly biased against conservative values. initially didn't think so but consistently found news slanted favorably to leftist, liberal and socialist ideas. It's not worth using when you realize these are the same propaganda tactics used in Communst and Socialist countries.

The fact that it is undeletable bloatware on Samsung kills all value that this app might have. Moreover, on Galaxy S6 after factory reset, it does not even appear on the list of apps. And disabling it on widget screen does not prevent occasional popups. Facebook app, being bloatware as well, at least has the decency to actually stop bothering you when disabled. Regardless, any bloatware practices should be stopped.

🔥Warning: This app presents a security risk and should be avoided at all costs. Makes sense when you consider a backroom deal that makes it unavailable to deletion. 🔥 ⭐ The 4 out of 5 stars is bogus. Fraud detector is screaming. Look through the reviews and you will quickly see virtually nobody wants this garbage⭐

Clicking on push notifications does not take you to the article. You have to actively look for it on the home page. Rather than selecting sources that you, yourself, curated the application forces you to merely select topics and doctors up a few stories that the application thinks you might like.

If I accidentally swipe the wrong way while deep into clicking links it throws me back to flipboard! Cannot tell you how aggravating that is when in the middle of a good story! Also reloads in middle of feed a lot when I haven't gotten to the bottem. Would enjoy more if this were fixed

This is not a briefing app, this a data collection app. It is collecting all your data and selling it. It will also start collecting data on all your contacts. This app allows you to sign in with google/facebook/Twitter, meanwhile Flipboard had a huge data breach from June 2018 to March 2019. Whatever changes they made to protect your data obviously wasn't good enough because they were hacked again in April 2019. I cant uninstall this from my devices and I'm sick of constantly disabling it.

The interface is annoying. It is far too easy to navigate away from a story while trying to scroll, and there's no way to bring it back without retracing your steps from the beginning! The app itself closes just as easily, also without any way too restore it. It removes itself from the recent apps list & is not even in the app drawer. This really didn't make any sense! The icon that poses as a back button behaves in s totally baffling way! And there aren't any useful settings available.

I like this app. Don't really mind all of the ads. My problem with it is if you are reading something, and hit something wrong, you have a 20% chance of finding it again. Esp if you were following a link at the end of article. The other issue I have is not being able to choose content you care about. 2 stars for those issues. Plus 1 star for content.

Thank you very much for the rapid and helpful feedback. I used your app for a long time and it is great. I'm just making some space on a somewhat old phone in order to store other kinds of content that I need storage for these days. (My previous review was "I wish I could uninstall this App but Samsung made it impossible", but it's not by any means a fault by the Flipboard developers. Theirs app is VERY good on what it does, sadly I can't keep many apps on this short storage device.)

Get this off my phone. I hate it when I accidentally swipe left and suddenly it's there and it makes my phone lag. Takes 10 seconds before I can get back to the home screen. And no, I DON'T CARE ABOUT DONALD TRUMP. Articles are just all about Trump and I dislike him, so I hate the constant reminder that he is still our president. Give me REAL WHOLESOME NEWS PLEASE. I dont need constant bad vibes at my fingertips.

Completely biased. Not a wide range of news, but very selective bits that target President Trump and conservatives. I already am surrounded with that from MSM. I'm looking for something that gives me real news not tied to politicians. All this app had to do is report everything BUT what cable news is spewing and THAT would be worth reading. Sadly... it's not.

.... data mining and ad revenue, this app should honestly be removed from the play store it's that horrible. You're greeted with 4-6 ads upon using it, sometimes getting pop up ads as well, then on top of that they are data mining your information... come on google!

I hate this app! When you click on an article 99% of the time you begin to read & then a pop up appears & asks that you allow cookies. And..... it will not stay uninstalled!!! I don't want it..... At. All. I have to uninstall this stupid app at least once a week. Even disabled it. It keeps returning and takes up battery and storage space. It's ridiculous!

It is very handy but the content is not very good. They show articles from websites that youre not allowed to read unless you pay, and they also show way too much CTV news articles even though it is well known to be unreliable information. They also show articles that are nothing more than somebody's opinion on a topic

Can't uninstall. It was preloaded. I don't want it or use it. I need the memory for other apps. I have already disabled updates in the Play Store but it still includes them in a list of updates available. I also am notified in the Galaxy Store. It is annoying that there's no way to completely dismiss it since I don't use it and can't delete it.

App doesn't stay open when opening up other apps, freezes sometimes, promotes topics that you are not interested in even if you don't select those topics, lots of political propaganda and very biased writers...the official Flipboard app is much better.

The concept of Flipboard is good however its execution is falling flat I find it particularly disturbing that they give me Snippets of news only be directed and told by the sources that I only have 0 articles remaining and I cannot read the story as such it's current experience is it's a news teaser and hence provides no informational value. Also Flipboard sun's out a large high frequency of double caitians which adds to the frustration. Good thing the app is free but the cost is your time.

Impossible to *permanently* disable the app on my phone. Their support team is happy to tell you how to only temporarily disable the app after you complain that you aren't able to permanently disable it. And of course they don't admit to you that this is only a temporary fix and the app will manage to get automatically re-enabled reasonably quickly.

This is bloatware. I am forced the keep it on my Samsung and can't uninstall it as per the manufacturer's default. Normally I can't be bothered to write a reviews, but the app asked me to give a rating today, so here it is. The content is decent, but I still see a lot of clickbait. It is slow to load, and that's also an annoyance.

News offered is usually irrelevant and often quite old (sort of like morning newspapers). Would be nice if you could pick and choose subjects that you are interested in. All in all, it is typical of any Canadian-style news source... In trying to appeal to everyone, it appeals to few.

The stories need to be more latest, rather then so many hours old.... Secondly, Very old stories need to be removed rather then continuing to be shown for days back to back. You can really be much better!!!

Good app, only bad problem is mashable intrusive thing: if you have 5 or more topic tabs, you can't swipe right until last topics without annoying mashable opens automatically. On 4th topic, mashable opens instead your topic. When you back from this, 1st topic tab is selected again :( It's really bad and I'm thinking about uninstall app because that.

I just got a notification of a reply from the developer, or was this "fake news"? Disappointing experience, the worst thing it's stuck in my device and can't uninstall, thank you Samsung! Update: you know well i can't uninstall, and suggesting to root my device! Is this how you treat your product users? If it was a good experience for me I'd praise it, I used it before, now you make fun of a consumer! Thank you flipboard.

Flip board is USELESS!! Puts real news on my screen, but then goes straight to the inane lifestyle articles I have no interest in. Politics, war, religion, weather. I couldn't care less about any of the other stuff. Keep your recipes and restaurant tevirws, entertainment non-news to your own selves, snd just serve up the important NEWS.

It is very difficult to tell the difference between the ads and the article. The ads are very distracting and make the article very difficult to read. Once you navigate your way through the eye - painful ads, you feel very cheated because the article is not very well written. And your eyes hurt after the ordeal.

Can't uninstall. Never use this junk. Never installed it. Useless! I can't wait to get a Librem 5 so I can get away from Google spyware and bloatware! Samsung sucks too. I don't care about disabling! I WANT IT GONE! I will specifically remember to avoid this developers other apps if I see their name attached to it. Flipboard is engrained in my memory as a corporate drone...I wish we could give ZERO stars!

Unable to log in, change password, or delete account. And most importantly, I cannot get HELP from the "help" option either. Problem exists in both the Briefing and Flipboard app. Edit: SAMSUNG PLEASE STOP FORCE FEEDING THIS APP ON US!!! EDIT 2: I have contacted you through that option and still have not received help so remove the generic response you made here because you're not helping me log on OR delete my account and make a new one.

Will not open after Android Pie update. You can no longer swipe right on the Home page to get to Briefing. You can not pinch and expand to get to the option to enable/disable it.It will not open like any other app unless you swipe right from Home.I used this daily and it was great. Now it will not even open.It is still installed, and yes I tried to enable/disable with the pinch. There is no support from the website, and other forums have absolutely nothing about it other than disabling it.Any ideas?

I hate this blasted thing and would have uninstalled it many years ago if that were possible. I had successfully hidden it somehow, and now, like a poltergeist, here it is again on my new phone!!! I will have to see about force stop or disable or whatever so I can forget it exists, cluttering up my device memory with garbage!

Great until vanished from my quick access(swipe from right to left) & I can't seem to get this function back on my home screen but it still is installed I just can't access unless I get a notifation first.

Roll up ads annoying, subscription requirements for article's are ridiculous. Same articles for days, little variety. Also, abbreviated headlines become clickbait fodder. It is simply easier to get newsfeed elsewhere.

Rarely shows the range of news articles on a range of subjects that many other major and minor news sites have. Too many ads that appear to be news, but are not. Format is nice, but lacking in helpful content.

The ads are just getting more and more invasive. After reading issues about not being able to uninstall and if you disable it re enabled itself again, if that turns out to be the case, welp Xmas is coming up soon so I'm getting an iPhone that hopefully doesn't preinstall this junk.

Horribly biased algorithms. Constantly feeding me stories like "Where would Donald Trump land on a list of worst presidents?". Never a single positive article about him, but constantly receiving pop-ups straight to my notifications panel with unsolicited negative articles. I'm not even crazy about the guy but you have to admit this is the definition of technology irresponsibly influencing society.

The customisability of which categories and how many appear in the feed is great. I've encountered news stories in this app that I would otherwise have missed as they did not appear in my other feeds.

I like the aggregation but it tends to refresh content while I'm returning to the main section rather than waiting for me to refresh manually. Then I have to start from the beginning. How do I place a bookmark (different than my favorites) to get back to where I left off?

This app sends me notifications all the time about news stories, but when I click on the link to the story, it never takes me to the correct story, just a big long list of items that I don't want to waste my time going through, and when I've tried to find the story I'm after, it isn't there. App sucks!

Please add a black/night theme to read comfortably in the dark. Otherwise still one of the very best news aggregating apps around. While initial default set of sources is pretty standard, it doesn't take long to arrange the source lists and quick tabs to your liking, having all the specific news sites/topics/rss feeds/blogs/twitter channels/anything that *you* want in one place. Imho, anyone complaining about poor sources or the inability to disable the app doesn't know how to smartphone :p

It's covers a good mix of stories and it isn't just one sided political. Alot of the stories are tied to publishers so if you want to read alot then they want you to subscribe so that's a bummer

Very annoying app I wish I could get rid of it of this tablet completely I have it uninstalled but still keep getting updates and reminders from it, Unfortunately I cant remove it completely as it was a pre installed app very very annoying, Flipboard thanx for your reply but i still keep getting updates or reminders about it when I dont need it very annoying

I can't see the app, I have no icon anywhere on my Verizon galaxy s7, I tried Uninstalling and reinstalling but only unis talked update so reupdated and not given an open option and still no icon. :( only time can read is when a notification pops up :(

Painful level of advertising. Well above my threshold. Also painfully slow as it takes forever to load all those adverts. Awful app. Getting rid of it.

The majority of news stories link to a media site that requires a subscription. I can Google and read about the same news story for free. This app just seems like an add for news media subscriptions. Link to free sites and it would be much better.

Too many advert which drives me to look at news in another places. The interuptions in reading are just too many. It's not worth the effort, deleting all these ads. And we no longer even give them a second glance either ! No, thank you.....

Everyday I'll be going I wish I can uninstall this app on our way comes on the devices that you especially my tablet because I never going to use your jump like what does it have to come with the tablet device or whatever the heck I will never use this piece of junk this brother get installed in this better not ever exist again

Annoying as any forced app. And of course, typical of most big tech news aggregators, the feed is nefariously biased, whether or not you're willing to recognize propaganda.

I dont want your app, it keeps being installed on my phone. Please provide me with a way to uninstall it. I can't turn off your "breaking news", if I could, I wouldn't mind your app as much. Sorry I just don't want your app. Samsung should stop automatically making it available.

This is a great app to keep you abreast of many different topics in a large group of genres. my only real negative is that I can't delete or disable it. I would take having the storage space instead of an app that is not of my choosing all day. It's not that the app is not great and very useful, it is just that I spent 1300 on a S10+ and I would like to get the storage space I actually paid for

News is interesting. Too often double coverage - needs more editorial oversight. "Fashion" column of very little interest. Same for sports for your truly.

Biased content can not uninstall or block! Edit: Developer fails to understand the app can not be uninstalled or blocked! We do not want it on our devices! It is intrusive junk ware! I have tried to block all the BS propaganda sources, I still can not shut it off or uninstall!

It's a nuisance lurking there and I wish I could disable it. I would prefer to be able to load the app myself if I wanted it. *** Since the developer contacted me I've emailed them with info about my phone and what I've tried in order to disable the app. I've asked for suggestions. *** The developer suggested going to Settings then System apps to disable it. Success! Happy with the developer's assistance and very happy the app is gone.

Ad placement make reading the stories nearly impossible. Stories are undetailed and short; then they scroll into the next story. It's a mess.

It can take up to 5 minutes get the answer to a short question. I wouldn't mind scrolling two or three times to get a little more background information but I want it to be my choice I don't want to scroll 25 times to get the answer to a simple question

No app should be mandatory on any system. If it's mandatory, in this day and age, it's probably predatory. Just like Bixby and other mandatory apps, if one can't manually delete it without rooting their phone, it probably mines data and records conversations.

If you like a bunch of one sided news this is for you. The makers of this app clearly have an agenda and are biased. News should come from all sources not just liberal or conservative becuse you can usally get to some kind of truth sifting through the BS spin they vomit out. This app appently doesn't think so. Plus why do these people force themselves on your phone when you get it. You don't even get the option to uninstall it. That makes me dislike them right from the start.

A bit frustrating to use. Somehow, after selecting a story, I often lose what I'm trying to read as I start to scroll whereupon it goes back to the main page. Happens constantly. Plus it feels like the stories dont change too often. Two days later, I'll be seeing many of the same stories and I'm not signed in. Otherwise, the concept is good, of course.

Stories are broken up with ads and even sometimes just end. Ads, ads, ads, ads, ads and guess what .... more ads. A minus 5 stars for incomplete stories and ads after every paragraph.

Tried to read the post about Selfridge's window and immediately an advertisement came up over the top and would not close so I gave up and moved on to another page. Very frustrating and irritating !!

Great app! I think its fantastic. It offers evrrything you want with a news app and you can personalise it down to exactly what you want. The recommendations that it offers me as well are, for the most part spot on. No app is perfect so that is why the 4/5. Thanks guys!👍

No matter how I make the settings, I get celebrity news I don't want and not nealy enough solid news or analysis. I would love Flioboard to be a news aggregator. If it's just not, fine, allow me to remove it altogether.

Flooded with fox news propaganda and Russian trolls. Tried to mute source only to get twice as much fake news from fox. Trolls don't get blocked no matter how many times you report and block.

Don't need it. Don't want it. Can't get rid of it. It keeps re-installing automatically a few days after I uninstall it (even though automatic updates are turned off). Ugh! In response to the developer's comment: yes, I have now disabled it since that's the next best thing. I would much prefer just getting rid of it entirely, but that seems pointless as it will only reinstall itself (without my permission) a few days later.

Doesn't tell you what the appointment actually is when it notifies you that you have an appointment at xx:xx pm/am. For example if you have an appt with the doctor at 2pm it will only tell you that your first appointment is at 2pm, failing to include that it is with the doctor.

I enjoy this app because the information is current brief and to-the-point with a busy schedule I don't always have time 2 watch the news on TV I am very pleased with the information that this app provides

Painfully stilted... Frankly I find it hard to read anything on Flipboard. The only time I ever even glance at a single article is when I accidentally swipe right, and it shows up on my Samsung Android screen. It only takes about two or three sentences for me to realize that I'm wasting my time. If you want actual news reporting that's objective and unbiased, you won't find it here.

Navigating continually changes. Recommended articles can't be read without subscribing to article publication. Notifications are continuous (way too many). Links are slow. It can't be uninstalled & automatically re-enables (if disabled) after updates, which also can't be turned off. It takes up a bunch of memory and system resources. Just a terrible app 100%

Resurrected bloatware. I disabled this app when I bought this phone. Now it's back on my list of updates as "Briefing". Rebranding an app does not change it's quality, or lessen my disgust with it. EDIT for dev's reply: I can only disable FLIPBOARD. Playstore thinks BRIEFING is an update, but the O/S believes they are different. The only way to get the BRIEFING update off my list is to REENABLE FLIPBOARD. As far as your advice re: rooting my phone: I'm disappointed.

Worst app ever! Seriously, maybe if they added a flashlight(seriously add any word here. Whistle, measuring tape, alarm, some device that tells me winning lottery ticket numbers 7 years after they were drawn?) to it I would actually get some use out of it. Until then I'll treat it like Bixby. Disable it, freeze it, and forget it!

Quite good for quick news overview, nice and intuitive UI. Putting 3 stars because there are absolutely no settings for built-in browser. It is also not possible to disable it and open news in external browser right away.

I don't know how much of this product is Nullified but It's thinking their apps stores Protections area stills not Protected from the Samsung Browser and ,with My Samsung apps tools Settings, and Google &Gmail acct. they was all about how they were going through updates on, on apps, Gmail,Google, account was just now Updated ,for the 2nd time since Oct.7,20019.

Always makes me go into it when im swiping pages, and i dont like it at all. I kinda wish it was like an icon app. Still, we have internet so it's kinda stupid to have it. Uvjek me tjera da podjem u njega dok idem kroz stranice, i ne svidja mi se bas. Zeljela bih da bude kao ikona aplikacija. Svakako, imamo internet pa ga je glupo imati.

Can not uninstall and never installed in first place. Briefing doesn't show up when I go to settings. No way to disable. I go to Briefing app and only option is update. Never asked for it and no way to turn off notifications. Extremely irritating. Use to have Flipboard but for some reason it disappeared. I receive these Briefing notifications which I can not turn off because where I would control my notifications, Briefing is not listed and therefore I can't turn off notifications or disable.

It won't open! I've been trying for hours. I've did the updates. Can't even find the app icon. Went to library, tapped on it and all it says is uninstall. Where is the app? I'm going to try one more time, then I will uninstall.

Not enough diversity in the news sources. Painful to select a story to read only to discover one must pay to subscribe to that news feed. The news sources are decidedly biased politically. It would be nice to feature independent news sources which report, and do not create, news. In response to your suggestion to link my profile, I do not want to read news which mimics my personal beliefs. I prefer to read sources which are independent and that at least attempt to be unbiased.

Just another news feeder which would have earned aversge score of 3/5 stars but the annoyance of receiving notifications on specific news items in topics that I DO NOT FOLLOW. For example, I do not follow sports, but yet I keep receiving notifications on team wins or player's victory and whatever. I never asked to follow sports topic and I after limited what news area -- not topics because that choice is unavailable, in notifications, I receive still news items of disinterest to me.

I really want to remove this app. There's something wrong when you're given a way to do that. I'm being forced to see this app pop up on my screen all the time, whether I want it or not. It is impossible to disable this app. There is no " disable" button to push, or box to check or uncheck; just a toggle sliding button. I slide it to what I believe is Off, but later, Flipboard is soon showing up on my home screen with more " suggested" reading. I've been a Verizon customer since 2001, but I may

Good product, but I barely used it since I got this phone. It gave me the ability to learn new things, get connected on recent news from specific selected areas, it's very intuitive! But truth is, because I barely ever used it, I've recently uninstalled it. Keep in mind, it IS an excellent product!

Hardly any articles that are relative to me and I don't like the platform of the way articles are displayed when I do read an article. Too many ads and click bait. I do respect it's like that for a reason. Not my kind of storytelling even when I'm interested. Kind regards. Samm

it wont let me uninstall. ANNOYING APP! response to Flipboard response: I've tried to uninstall it multiple times. it keeps reinstalling on it's own. I've disabled auto-updates and somehow its constantly needing uninstalled over and over again. Your app is terrible, and now its annoying to continuously deal with. 1 star, only because zero stars isn't an option!

OP: yet another useless Samsung app forced upon its users. I "uninstalled" it, but it's still in my phone. Response to developer: It gives me the option to UNINSTALL in Google Play. I clicked on it, now it gives the option to INSTALL (but app still on phone). So what's all the trickery about?? I love Google but this game right here is a lil weird.

Heavily biased; does not report the real news, rather their opinion on it. Update: despite uninstalling Briefing, I continue to receive their stories in my notifications. The latest one? "More 2020 Democratic candidates calling Trump a 'white supremacist'. Here's Why". Briefing proceeded to go in depth into several of the candidate's beliefs as to why they think Trump is racist. How is this news? Everyone knows their opinions. Nothing's changed. This is just a way of spreading left-wing bias.

I would have given 5 stars but sometimes the links send the reader to web pages where the readerr needs to be a subscriber in order to read them. What's the point?!

The lead story changes everytime you open the app to give you just enough time to become interested in a story you then can't find

HATE IT!! UPDATE 7/26/19...I have always had a Samsung device. With this BS app and Flipboards generic answer to everything, "you can disable device" which is NOT permanent because EVERY UPDATE starts it back up (even when I've supposedly not allowed it to update). I WILL NO LONGER BUY THE SAMSUNG PHONES. I really wish Samsung cared enough to listen.

I don't need this and don't want it eating phone space. There's no justification in making it impossible to uninstall it. Get this Off My Phone. I don't want it, like several other unwanted apps, gobbling up space. Out of 16 GB I only get to use 5 because of apps like this one. I get losing space to the OS and other apps like an internet browser. But I was able to remove this once. Then it forcibly reinstalled itself and removed the option to uninstall.

One can barely read. There are so many advert. Ontop of the posts, over the posts, in the middle of the posts and once conted 43 adverts below the post. I stoped using Briefing / Flipboard because I do not want to scratch between adverts to find a few words to read. do not even try the gossip / celebrity section, it's even worse!!!! Allowing ads to a certain degree one can understand, but in this program it's way way way way overboard. so - no thanx.

This came installed on my Samsung. Very low-quality, unethical news articles seem to always be on the top of the feed, though the news articles themselves tend to be buried with trivial gossip. I had trouble figuring out how to uninstall it as well, since it's pretty integrated to the phone.

constant updating, intrusive, Ads, pop ups, ad-like pop-ups & unwanted notifications, difficult removal useless to me, bloteware forced interaction, data usage, slow start-up, drags phone processing down and battery heat up.bottom line I don't want it, didn't ask for it, and I opted for removal (CANT!) on the 2nd day . I turned off, unintalled updates, denied permissions, and unchecked everything I can for (when did this NOTE II premier )..8yrs? but this thing always comes back.persistent lil $#
