About this APK

Boomplay: Music Downloader is an app by TECNO MOBILE LIMITED in the Media & Video category, listed since April 2016. It includes native code only for ARM 64-bit, so it won't install on phones that can only run 32-bit apps.

Since version 2.1.99.68, the minimum Android version rose from 3.0 to 4.2. It asks for 43 permissions, 13 of them sensitive, including precise location, camera and record audio. Compared with version 3.8.4, it adds 11 new permissions (“Bluetooth connect”, “Find accounts on the device”, “Precise location” and 8 more) and drops 7 (“Battery stats”, “Change configuration”, “Media content control” and 4 more). The app offers in-app purchases through Google Play and can read the advertising ID that ad and analytics services use.
