It seems to always suspended for ridiculous reasons, saying "will resume when battery gets to 80% (currently 100%)" when the phone is plugged in and fully charged, yet says I need to plug it in to compute. The app used to do this occasionally, but now does it all the time and won't compute at all. Unfortunately I will probably uninstall, as it no longer works.

Once up and running, things go smooth, but adding projects are a little convoluted because you may have to go to the projects' individual sites to set up an account. There also seems to be a bug where the app doesn't fully suspend projects when you press the pause button. Even when suspended, my phone remains warm, my battery drains fast, the projects still appear to progress, and I have to manually force close the app to get things back to normal.

I installed the latest version from APK Mirror, v.7.18.1 and registered an account, and chose a project, but it kept refusing to acknowledge that I was signed in. I tried it numerous times and eventually uninstalled it. There is no convenient way to get help (email!), just a forum, and I don't do forums.

I'd love if calls didn't pause computation, and if unpausing resumed the same nearly finished tasks. Also, opening a few other apps seems to sideline BOINC until restart (app or phone) — task completion time goes from 6–9 hours to 24–36.

The version here is outmoded by the version on F-Droid or even that of the website itself, not sure if the maintainer or publishing authority quit or what but I'd love to see it updated here.

Universe@H, etc. works fully with settings tweaks. Not intuitive: no starting settings (like cpu cores) guide, app conflict notes (like battery temp readers), or default max productivity. These fixes will help!

I only using BOINC for Seti at home on this Moto G7 Power and it works just fine. My only complaint is that unlike the desktop versions, there is no way to set how many work units to download in advance. I regularly go camping in the wilderness with no cell coverage. Before long, there is no work for the phone to do until I get back into coverage. Fix that and I give the app a 5.

I can obtain tasks with no issue on my Andriod v9. BOINC successfully downloads tasks. BOINC does not process any task, and has this message "Connect your device to a charger to continue computing", while having the device on charge. I have tried multiple different chargers with no success. I have enabled and disabled every in Preferences, under Power, in Power sources for computation. No change. I was unable to find any resolution for this issue. Of course, after each change I restarted my device to make sure the changes are picked up. This may not be required, but I was attempting to eliminate all potential issues.

Using Moto G 1st gen since I got a new phone. App fetches Rosetta@Home data but progress never exceeds 2%. App will not progress due to various reasons: lost connection to wifi (it's always on), running on battery (phone is connected to wall charger), phone busy (no other apps are actively running). It does, however, recognize my new BOINC account but not for my new phone Moto G6. I don't intend to run BOINC on my computer so that's it for me.
