It's an OK password app but can get in the way when trying to "paste" a copied item. The app wants to stick the banner right in the way of the "paste" button I am trying to push. Pretty annoying really. Edit 10,13,2021: this app has become increasingly burdensome in that it does not open and input information NOR does it capture new passwords and account information. I have Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it several times. There are other password protection apps to use.

Great app, but the autofill box that appears almost always shows up in my way, covering up boxes I need access to. Once it appears, i can't get it to go away, even after selecting the autofill item, and I can't move it out of my way. Maybe add a persistent notification that can be used, as an option for those who don't want to use the android autofill service, or have problems with it.

So just downloaded and can't even create an account. Enter email, master password, check box for TOS and submit. Blue circle spins, says "creating account" and then app closes to home screen. Try to login and told user name or password is incorrect. Would give zero stars if I could as app isn't even usable. Will update if devs can give me an idea of what is going on and I can actually review the UI.

It works. The best password app I've ever used. I was with LastPass from the beginning. And their Android app just kept not working. Bitwarden shows up when you want it to, doesn't when you don't want it to. Is plain but has a depth of features that can't be beat. Had I known it was this good I would have dumped LP years ago. It's scary to change but it was worth it. Kinda glad LP told us to choose Desk or Mobile. Glad I took Bitwarden. How simple can I say it. It just works!

Not perfect, but works. It's subscribable if you need corporate/team services, and yet under the hood still open source. Compared to 1Password and the like black boxes more trustworthy, but not the usability stains fullly free software tools like Pass have. to me a great compromise. If no team sharing features are needed, there is quite decent Keepass based solutions around these days. They're completely free in any sense and quite useable as well.

Can't recommend bitwarden enough. Free tier doesn't feel restricted at all- it's so functional I almost feel guilty that I'm not paying for it. It's become indispensable to my work and personal life online. The app works flawlessly standalone, and only occasionally does the integration with chrome have any issues (usually caused by the web page as far as I can tell). The integration across platforms is seamless. Thanks for setting the standard!

I have been using Bitwarden for a few weeks now, and so far I love it. I recently switched from LastPass and I am still getting used to it. I am not disappointed in Bitwarden, it has a very mature feel to it. I like its password generation features, they are better than those in LastPass. Importing my passwords from LastPass was fairly easy and straight forward. I switched to Bitwarden because LastPass started charging to be able to access my passwords on multiple platforms. I am still getting used to having to log in every time my browser restarts, but I know doing it that way is better security than if it is just unlocked for weeks at a time, so I forgive it. I am always on the lookout for a better password manager, but at this point Bitwarden ticks all of the boxes for the options that I want in a password manager.

Bug report: I some google service, use bitwarden autofill, puts unhidden password in email space. Second or third time I retry (no refresh), it works. edit: also it doesn't offer to select password from 'all logins" which many times is grinding my gears cause i use login with google and i just have to re-enter my google password when i could just choose it from logins and it could copy it there if needed. Its grinding my gears a bit.

Switched from lastpass to Bitwarden and I haven't looked back. I trust Bitwarden with my passwords and recommend it to others. The only thing I felt it lacked is the UI, just the cosmetic stuff, I'm sure they'll update that in the future and even if they don't it's still a great application.

I am another LastPass refugee, unhappy with their forcing clients on to one device for the free version. With a little help which is readily available from their website, I'm very happy with its performance on a Chromebook, an Android phone, an iPad, and an iPhone. I installed the Android version on my Chromebook, so I am able to make changes in LastPass, export them, and import them to Bitwarden on one device. Very handy for keeping the two in sync.
