I love all of the recipes and its such a user friendly app. Its super easy to navigate. Only 4 stars because I can't save recipes in the app. I have to go to the desktop site to do so.

The app was useful, especially for the cook mode. However, considering the frequency with which I use(d) the app, the £5/month subscription fee is simply not worth it. I don't need the "extras" on offer and I resent the fact they're making money out of user-generated content. I don't understand why they're not keeping an ad-supported version. Will delete this for now.

Very, very disappointed! What was a free to use app (that I've used for years!) has suddenly decided without warning to start charging for its services. Yes, you can still access the recipes via the website for free but the app definitely made things quicker and easier. I'm sorry Goodfood but I can't afford to pay that much (£24.99 per year). Maybe if it was around £5 per year I would consider it. Review updated Dec 21

VERY disappointed that this has changed to a subscription app. I can see all these recipes on the website so there's no reason for me to pay! I'd consider if it was a small one off fee, but this is ridiculous. I don't need tutorials or videos, just a good range of healthy meal ideas and baking suggestions. I will not be joining and have already downloaded another FREE recipe app. More than happy to rejoin if you make this app free again as I enjoyed using it.

What a ridiculous thing to do. I've been using this for years and now in have to pay to find the recipes I've stored. What a mean trick by the BBC. Any app that takes all free options away like that deserves to be snubbed in my opinion. Poor effort. Rather than drawing people in you've just slammed the door in many people's faces. Money grabbing and pathetic approach to marketing. This disrespect, of people you are supposed to be enticing, has resulted in me deleting the app, permanently.

BBC Good Food used to be one of the best cooking apps ever. I've made countless recipes and the app has inspired me to be more creative with my cooking. Loved it. However... However, they've added a paywall so the app is completely useless. But you can still access everything for free on their website (at least for now). I wonder what the difference really is between the app and the website. I'm not paying, though. The ads didn't bother me before. So maybe someone else could tell.
