I started using Baxta when I started a new job and had to walk about 10 minutes through a park to get to and from the office. Especially in the evening, when it is dark, the park has minimal lighting & other pedestrians. I feel safer with Baxta's real time session active, knowing my partner can see my location in real time, and has a history of my whereabouts while it is active.

I *really* like this app! Before installing it and testing, I was concerned that it might not be able to notify my primary contact, who uses an iphone, but upon testing, I saw that the emergency contact person doesn't have to have an Android for the basic SMS and/or emergency voice calling features to work when sent from an Android phone -- probably just the "real time sessions" need both phones to have the app. If you're able to do an iphone app so my contact and me can to the real time sessions, I definitely upgrade to the paid version. ** One feature I would really like to see implemented is the possibility of having the app turn on the Location service if it isn't already on when a user needs to send an emergency message. That would allow the phone battery to last so much longer, rather than having to always have Location on. I don't know if that is something that an app can control without direct user manual input. Is that a possibility at all?? Anyway, great app, very flexible for the user, simple to set up options. Definitely five stars...

I've been using the free version for a while. What attracted me was that the power button and shake device to activate emergency feature was offered for free, while other apps required a paid subscription to use the same feature. With this new version, I have decided to buy the subscription to use the real time tracking as well. The price is about 50% cheaper than other apps with similar features. I got to say the developers are very generous. Thank you guys.

The subscription is a great price compared to other family tracker and safety apps. As a parent, I live by this app. My kids are always out of the house, and this app allows me to track them and make sure they're okay. The feeling of knowing where your child is when they're out for a long time is very comforting.

Fantastic approach to the safety app idea. I was using Life360 with my ex, so that he would be able to keep an eye on me when I walk home from the train station after work. However, he would use it stalk me all the time. I really like that with Baxta, my privacy is respected without compromising on my safety.

This app has performed wonderfully for my family. My partner left her phone at the café, and when she returned to look for it, it was no longer there. We use my phone to track the person who took the phone, and was able to get it off them. They said they were going to turn it over to the police. Yea right.

Very reliable. Unlike other apps, the accuracy of the location is very high. I ran the real time session for a couple of days, without any gaps in tracking. Only slight drawback is that my contacts seem to gets an update every 1 - 2 minutes, and there isn't a setting to make it more frequent.

I downloaded the app for mother who lives alone. I originally intended to use it to be able to check-in on her, to see if she is active and give her a quick way to contact me in an emergency.
