Works fairly good; however, the so-called free is not very accurate at all. You get what you pay for/aka don't. I also use Google Docs which is far more accurate most of the time. Both apps required good enunciation and to speak very close to the mic which is not always possible in a group setting. I'm still happy Ava is available. Thanks!😄

Short lived. Once you start paying for it they cant help you if there's any glitches or error. You cant contact anyone and actually speak to them over the phone on your time. They made it seem like it was my fault I didnt receive what I payed for. They didnt seem to interested in figuring out why or how which is strange for an app that asks for a review after every use. All they could say was "close out the screen " as if it were my first time using the app or a phone period...

After reading the reviews, I am not even going to try this app. It's frustrating enough being deaf and trying to deal with communicating with impatient people. I may also add, it's very unattractive to state " your rating is unfair" or asking for a better rating. Real turn off. Besides thirty dollars? I shouldn't have to pay anything for the ability to communicate despite how hard your company works to provide closed captioning.

Excellent. I am profoundly deaf and a new user, so my experience is limited. Ava was an easy download and set up. So far, I am pleased. Type size is adjustable, a great help. Bravo to the Ava team.

I'm tired of using my GB I'm already over my spending and the frustration isn't good either. It's good when working but after each conversation and you shut it down. I can't get it for the next conversation without using more GB

This app is a life saver for me . I am hearing impaired and with covid masks its impossible for me to understand what people are saying. I used it at my bank yesterday to open a new account via video and it caught everything the representative was saying. Thank you Ava app.

I guess it really should be 4.5 stars because it still has some technical glishes. However, it's a great program. I went to get some personal business and used AVA to communicate, even the person I was dealing with was impressed when I used it without another user connected. He then down loaded it and connected to my phone. He was really impressed. A very cool product for those of us who are DEAF.

This was a lifesaving app until a few weeks ago when it suddenly quit working at all on my husband's phone (Motorola Droid mini) and he's the deaf guy! Also, it won't let go of the microphone after I'm done with the app (Samsung Galaxy Note 4). Was working perfectly until mid-Sept on my phone and until 2 weeks ago on my husband's. Brute that we were telling everyone how spectacular it was. Extremely disappointed at the moment.
