Simple and easy to use. Doesn't encourage me to spend hours on it which is a definite plus! Very memorable - I remember to check in each morning and occasionally afternoon/evening. I absolutely love that it provides meditation exercises/classes. The art and animation is adorable! Taking care of Amaru is very simple and doesn't take a lot of effort or time and again absolutely adorable! The minigames are nice, but don't really engage me. I have a lot more to say but not enough space to write.

It's okay. I loved this app but got a new phone and apparently there is no way to transfer saved data. So I have to begin bonding and unlocking everything all over again!!!! Other than that draw back I would definitely recommend it. It is a major draw back for me as I get attached easily to virtual pets so I feel like I lost my Amaru so probably won't be returning now that I can't continue with him on our journey.

I love this app. Its cute, it helped me a lot with PTSD, and it's dynamic is something else. I really wanna thank the creators, and wish it grows big enough to have a proper fandom that helps eachother with their issues. The only reason why I'm not giving five stars is because I paid for the complete version, and I expected for new echo stones :/ more meditation variety would be fully appreciated. I thought suggesting it would be useful. But basically, thanks for all the help<3

Amaru has really helped with daily gratitude. We're so busy in our lives that we don't always remember, and don't even feel gratitude for anything at first. By recording items, anything at all, we are teaching ourselves how to experience gratefulness again. Plus, I love the cute art and affirmations. Is there any way we can submit any of our own? I also feel this app has some legitimacy where others don't, as there's a licensed psych on the development team. HOWEVER this is not a treatment!

I have been playing with Amaru for about a month. I was pleased to see that we could choose our own goals from the beginning; some games have preset objectives that are ineffective or overly simplistic. The mini games so far have been enjoyable and helpful (and short) distractions. The option to send Amaru to explore is a good way to progress without having to check the phone all the time. Best wishes if you decide to use this app!

Absolutely adore Amaru. I'd seen it some time ago in development and got it just over a month ago when I saw it released. I bought it in full so my little buddy looks like a happy bluejay! I've taken to the meditation and find anchoring really helps me. Especially in my work environment (kitchen/restaurant) which can be high stress. I give 4 stars for now since it still has stuff to release, but its easily a five star in full. Well worth looking into and giving a chance to help self care!

This game is great for building good self-care habits through playing a relaxing game. It has built-in ways to help you limit screen time. Even the free version has enough functionality to help out with anxiety, they've expanded it to include all of the guided meditations. I hope to save up enough for the paid version soon because I want to support this team's efforts and I'd like to try the extra features.

Very sweet little self care game. So far all I've gotten is good vibes from the game and the team. There's no microtransactions as far as I can tell, just one down payment for the game which I personally find refreshing. Amaru is my little buddy and I recommend this game to all I think would benefit. Nice work fog of Maya/ six wing

I love this app so much! Caring for Amaru through meditation and gratitude journaling gives me a little friend to help me with my self care. I love opening the app to see him, and the little artifacts he brings me from his adventures brighten my day. This is by far the best self care app I have tried and it's one of the few that I have been able to stick with!

Kinda sucks that most the game is behind a paywall. I understand locking some things, like cosmetics or premium items, but not core functions. Also, I think you got your buttons mixed up? I live in America. When the app asked if I lived in the European Union, I pressed "No", and it kicked me out because I wasn't of age, which is 16 in the EU but 13 everywhere else. I'm over 13 and not in the EU. But when I clicked "Yes" after a couple more tries, it let me in. Shouldn't it be the opposite?
