Description
The territory of Central Alentejo, given the quantity, quality and diversity of its heritage resources (material and immaterial), must support networks of cooperation which will contribute to consolidate the region as a cultural destination, art and tourism.
The "Alentejo em Cena" initiative arises in this context as an integrated initiative of cultural activities to be held in 12 of the Central Alentejo municipalities in programming logic and articulated cultural activities, organized according to theme and covering various artistic components cycles.
They are also planned a series of cross-cutting activities, organized by CIMAC and are designed to maximize the results of municipal actions to strengthen cooperation between municipalities and promote debate and reflection on issues related to the various dimensions of culture.
The "Alentejo em Cena" is integrated in the project "Valorisation, promotion and development of historical and cultural heritage of Évora and the surrounding region", co-financed by Alentejo 2020 Program, as part of a broad regional partnership and led by the Regional Entity of Tourism Alentejo. The activities of the Alentejo in scene, all free access, will take place between January 2017 and December 2018.
