Interface looks pretty, but streaming radio stations seem to all come out of Europe (Germany). So even if you select KCBS (based in San Francisco) the streaming web site is from Germany. Bottom line, trying to stream something from Europe here in the US just doesn't work. All 'requests' submitted through the app are incredibly slow (minutes), and 99% of the time are met with, 'Request failed, try again later.' Pretty sad. And yes, I was using the 'Pro' (paid) version on Android Lollipop.

Iv had my ups and downs with this pro app even a previous review moaning about it so I thought I should update it..definitely a simple reliable alarm for me which I use every day to get me up for work. Easy and you can pick and choose any radio station and add them to your favourites also. No issues for me.

Regardless to whether I have an alarm set up or not, regardless to what I allow the app to notify me for, there is permanently an alarm icon on the notification bar. Not happy.

This has only become better and more reliable over the years in which I've been using it. It is definitely my preferred alarm clock solution.

I have the Pro version on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and since it updated to Android 8.0 i've noticed a couple of changes/bugs with it. The UI that is used to change the alarm time is no longer a clock face but a scrolling table of numbers. With that there's now a bug - when i press on the minutes to type the new number using the keypad it doesn't actually register it. Instead, only the scrolling method updates the alarm time. Prior to the OS update to 8.0 there were no issues. Also there's a connection lag to radio streams when the alarm is activated ( at least half a minute that wasn't there before). Lastly changing from Holo Dark to Light doesn't work. Once the app is closed it reverts to Dark again. Yes, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if it helps. Version 1.86

I want to love this app but there are problems. After seemingly abandoned by the developer, it recently had a random update where it started asking for telemetry data. I use the radio about 2 hours every morning and it drops the stream about 6 or 7 times each day, only to immediately pick it back up when you turn it back on. This latest update also hammers my ears with the notification noise about 5 or 6 times every time it connects or disconnects. Super annoying. There's also a few words of German on the "Start InstaPlay" screen despite the rest of the app being in English. Would love to give 5 stars if improvements could be made.

Streams fail more than they work.. Worked well at one point.. But didn't work well on my htc one m9 or my new sony Xperia premium. Ironically the unpaid version works better
