It was a great app some years ago but not it is totally filled with ads. Anytime you find a rare character it shows you a 30sec ad. If you don't watch the ad it just not shows you the character. Really worst... The game is also not good as it should be... True maximum question limit should be 20 questions. But sometimes for rare characters it asks 40 to 50 questions and also didn't tell the right one after watching a 30sec ad.

So the app has some neat features the website doesn't, but it also plays ads. 30 second fullscreen ads at that, and when the length of an average game is so short it really bogs down the experience, but can be removed for $3.99 under the settings. If you genuinely want the best Akinator experience you could get this app and buy the Premium Potion to remove rhe ads, but even then the extra features conpared to the website are somewhat minimal, limited to leaderboards and daily challanges.

I love the app it's fun to kill time and everything. I just don't like how you can't get awards and coins from fooling the genie. Isn't that the point? To come up with a thought that stumps it? It'd be cool if you can earn points and everything by fooling him more than who played that thought last. Because if nobody had that thought then it should be a major award.

this is fun to play. I finally found an item Akinator has a hard time with. i went into Opjects and the item was Painite a rare gemstone. It took me 7 tries until the answer was gemstone. it is a gemstone but not the specific ones. this gam e is a nice way to pass the time. and to see if i can be smarter then Akinator. if you like apps for mind-reading then personally i think you should get this app

There are quite a few ads but they don't bother me too much, also, I was 2nd on the leaderboard for "Objects" and was brought down to the bottom for "cheating". I am rather upset about this, an example: I was trying to have Akinator guess a fan and he guessed "Dyson heat and cooling fan" I answered "Yes" and it claimed I was cheating. I am now worried of saying "Yes" to any of his guesses also, he will do tests multiple times in one game to see if I am cheating. It's really getting annoying.

Love this game, but I hate the fact when you get a gold, plat or black medal, you dont show up on the front page. I got a black, and front page guy was on there for 12 minutes already. I waited another 10 minutes and it switched to someone else. Kinda lame to have that feature but it be broken. 3 stars until its fixed. Also, just pay for no ads, its worth it if you like it and use it alot like myself. The game is a 1 star without ad removal.

This app is very impressive. The accuracy of the AI is remarkable, as is the speed it can reach a conclusion, sometimes even at seemingly obscure subjects. It's suprised me on multiple occasions just how well the AI is implemented. I understand the frustration with the ads, but I think rating it one star simply because of that, is unfair. It's one of the most impressive apps on the market, and it doesn't cost very much to remove the ads. Imo, people feel too entitled to enjoy a free experience.

I would always play this game when I was younger, and I recently got it again to have some fun. It is an awesome way to stay entertained with a fun-filled, mind reading genie. The only problem is that if you get a "rare" character, object, animal, or movie/TV show, you have to watch an ad judt to figure out if the genie guessed correctly. Other than that and the fact that the genie is a little TOO accurate--making me a bit concerned--it is an overall great app that you shoukd consider getting.

This game used to be so good and fun. But now it's filled with ads and everytime I thought of a "rare character", I always have to watch ads just to see it. Really dumb. And not to mention that they are 30 second ads, so you see more ads than you playing the actual game. So yeah, though it used to be so good back then, this game is now really bad with all the ads. Wayy to many ads in this game.
