The agent is expected to render basic financial services on behalf of the bank. /n/nAgency Banking refers to a type of branchless banking to improve financial inclusion, bring banking services/products closer to the people and acquire a wider customer base./n/nOffering: /n• Account opening/n• Cash withdrawal/n• Cash deposit/n• Funds transfers/n• Bills payment /n• Airtime Purchase /nGeneral guidelines/n/nAgency Banking operates in partnership with agents to conduct financial transactions on behalf of the bank. Customers visit the agent locations to perform financial services. /nCustomer pays for the services. /n/nReward/Incentives /nTransaction commission to both the bank and the agent/n/nProject Objectives:/nTo grow retail accounts./nTo provide financial services to the unbanked/nBring banking services/ products closer to the people/nIncrease awareness of retail products/nEarn income from the services/ transactions performed/n/nMOBLE APP TRANSACTIONS/n/n1. Account opening With BVN/n Agent keys in intending customer’s Bvn/n BVN validates customer’s information./n Agent impute customers e-mail, and phone number /n Customer’s get an OTP on the mobile number provided /n Agent inputs OTP to complete account opening./n/n2. Account Opening Without BVN/n Agent keys in intending customer Surname and First name/n Enters Date of Birth/n Keys in E-mail (optional)/n Enters Mobile number/n Customer receive an OTP on the mobile number provided/n Agent inputs OTP to complete account opening./n/n2. Funds transfer/Deposit /nI. Zenith Bank (cash deposit)/n Agent receives cash from customer/n Agent imputes Customer’s account number/n System validates account number/n Agent imputes amount and narration./n Agent enters PIN to complete cash deposit. /n Agent’s Till account is debited, customer’s account is credited. /n/nII. Other Bank/n Agent receives cash from customer/n Agent imputes customer’s account number/n Selects customer’s bank/n System validates customer’s account information./n Agent impute amount, Narration, senders name and phone number./n Agent enters PIN to complete /n Agent’s Till account is debited, other bank account is credited. /n/n3. Cash Out/n Agent imputes account number/n System validate account number/n Agent impute Amount /n OTP is sent to customer’s alerts number./n Agent imputes OTP and Pin to complete transaction./n Agent Till account is credited, Customers account is debited./n/n4. Bills payments – Multichoice, Discos and all Quickteller billers are available on the platform. Fee is N100./n/n5. Air Time purchase – Airtime vending for all Telcos are available./n Agents receives cash from customer/n Select network operator/n Inputs mobile number and Amount/n Agent enters PIN to complete transaction/n Agents Till is debited. /n Customer mobile number is credited.
