Everytime we need to change wifi or there is a quick break in power, I have a very hard time getting them to connect. The app is so plain, it's very unhelpful. I'm literally at my wits end trying to reconnect these now that I had to change wifi equipment. Update. Cameras have been offlime for months, I just spent an hour with customer service, they are useless as always. I'm done.

Was fine when first started using but not great now. Used to be able to zoom camera and had little problem with notifications, but since update and pay for cloud service began, zoom feature stopped, and events lag. By the time I receive notice that someone rang the doorbell, the person is already gone. Plan to switch to Ring service.

Absolutely horrible app. When I first began with zmodo it was great. Anymore I fight with it all and want to throw my phone along with their cameras out into the highway! Live feed barely works. Customer service is horrible. App crashes multiple times a day. It someone ever breaks into my place I couldn't depend on zmodo. #overit

Really tired that when I need check my cameras it takes too long to get you in. I have 4 cameras but paying for 3 on the cloud. It sends you notifications when it wants you to. You go in the app to check who's at the front of your property too late they are gone bc it took too long to get you in. Don't buy the cloud too expensive not worth it. The cloud is just waste of money. It gives you the recording 5 minutes delay no instant recording.

Working good couple of months laid on it so I give you a problem if you had more than two one always is turning off by himself no button to turn on or off you have to disconnect them and restarting all the camera around your house I think they have to be more specific with the information and the item,it's a good prices for two, but u have to pay for more videos detail for a little longer😒.

Zmodo started off great. 2019 through 2020 I had no problems. Now it's time to throw them in the garbage. Every few days it's offline and it's hell to get device back online working again. Don't waste your time and money with Zmodo

EDIT: I've had this app for a while and it never fails to disappoint. Y'all need to stop sending me notifications when you know when I click on it, it will say something along the lines of "this information isn't ready yet" and not let me see the footage AT All... I literally have to exit completely out of the app to see what it's even talking about. Stop sending me these fake notifications please, or at least let me look at them in real time.

We have 4 zmodo cameras that we've used for close to a year now. The majority of the time they work perfectly, every once in a while we have trouble connecting to a particular camera, but this is mostly due to our own poor local internet. What we really appreciate however is anytime we've had trouble and we've called the help line we've gotten Americans who are polite and are usually able to help in some way.

Unable to update my original review from September 2018, which was not good, so I had to delete it in order to share this. When I purchased the 8 cameras and NVR 3 years ago I had a lot of trouble with setup. Eventually I was able to get them connected and they still work very well. There have been many improvements and today they're my most reliable cameras. App is great with some features noone else offers for free and their cloud service is very affordable as well. Awful. It works two to three days then stop for four. During the trial period it worked beautifully, then I purchased subscription and the services is a maybe. I am so over this consuming my time and attention.
