This is a web browser that supports reading, allowing you to comfortably read works from various novel websites, including Aozora Bunko.

【Notice】
Starting with Ver2.0.7, the default data save location for new YMO! installations will be a folder with access permissions only for YMO!. Therefore, it will no longer be possible to display content in conjunction with MHE Novel Viewer. Please switch to the built-in viewer.

*Please note that the default folder is app-specific, and data will be deleted upon uninstallation.

*Updates from YMO! Ver2.0.6 or earlier will retain the previous folder, allowing you to continue using MHE Novel Viewer.

*By changing the data save location to a folder with access permissions for MHE Novel Viewer (a folder selectable from the list), you can use the MHE Novel Viewer integration.

Due to OS specification changes for improved security in Android 10 and later, there are restrictions on app-to-app integration. Previously, we provided viewer functionality in conjunction with MHE Novel Viewer, but we have switched to viewing with the built-in viewer.

While the integration feature with MHE Novel Viewer will remain, there is a possibility that integration may become unavailable with future version updates.

【Features】
- This web browser makes it easy to download works, check for updates, and remember your reading position, making it convenient for reading management.
- By utilizing the MHE Novel Viewer typesetting engine in the viewer, it provides a more comfortable and easier-to-read reading environment than reading with a standard web browser.
- You can automatically check for regular updates to works and new registrations from your favorite authors.
- Old documents are automatically saved during revisions, so you can rest assured even if they are digested.
- The reading timeline allows you to easily check works you were reading at a certain time.

【How to Use】

■Downloading and Reading Works
① Select the "WEB" tab at the bottom of the screen to open the site. Open the page of the work you want to read. You can select various novel sites using the "site" button at the top of the screen.
② Press the "Download" button to start the download.
③ Once the download is complete, the viewer will launch and open the downloaded work.

■Reading Downloaded Works
① Select the "History" tab at the bottom of the screen to display a list of downloaded works. (The most recently read work will be displayed at the top.)
② Tap the work you want to read to launch the viewer and open the selected work. If the work has been updated, it will automatically download the additional version.

■Rating Works
① Select the "History" tab at the bottom of the screen to display a list of downloaded works.
② Long-press the work you want to rate to display a menu.
③ You can rate works on a 5-point scale using the rating bar (the bar with stars).
④ Works rated 1 or higher will appear in the "Favorites" tab, so please use this to manage your reading.
*This is YMO!'s unique rating system and is managed separately from favorites on sites such as "Let's Read Novels!".
*Author ratings are based on the average of the works rated. Please note that individual author ratings are not available.

■Checking for Work Updates
- Select the "History" tab or the "Favorites" tab, then press the update check button in the lower right corner of the screen (to the right of the "WEB" tab) to check for updates to the works in that tab.
- Each tab's work list displays a maximum of 200 works per page, and update checks are performed on these 200 works. For works beyond 200, there is a page switching button at the end of the list; please switch to the next 200 works to view and update. (This is to reduce the server load on each novel site and prevent excessive update checks. Please understand this before using.)

■Automatically Checking for Updates to Specified Works
- Long-press a work in the list and set the reading status to "Reading (Automatic Update)" in the menu that appears. This will automatically check for updates to that work periodically.

*The number of works you can specify is limited to 200 (this is to reduce the server load on each novel site. Please understand).

*To use this feature, the automatic update setting must be ON.

■Automatically check for new and updated works by specified authors
- By long-pressing a work in the work list and checking the checkbox to the left of the author's name in the menu, the system will periodically check for new and updated works by that author.

*You can specify up to 20 authors (this is limited to reduce server load on each novel site. Thank you for your understanding).

*To use this feature, the automatic update setting must be ON.

【Other】
- Tapping the "History" tab or "Favorites" tab switches between the work list and the author list.

- The "00/00" display in the work list on the "History" tab and "Favorites" tab indicates the number of downloaded documents and the total number of documents. If not all documents have been downloaded, it will be displayed in red. If documents have been added via update check, they will also be displayed in red, so please use this as a reference for unread documents.

* The "00/00" display in the author list on the "History" and "Favorites" tabs indicates the number of downloaded works and the total number of works by that author.

* If the update check reveals revisions (editing) to downloaded documents rather than additions, the number of downloaded documents will become 0, and you will need to re-download them. (The older, unrevised documents will be saved as separate files.)
* The "Filter" button in the title bar allows you to display only works that meet specific criteria. Please note that the update check will only be performed on the works displayed after filtering.
You can edit the contents of each filter by long-pressing it.
* Long-pressing a work in the work list will display a menu related to that work (view the work's web page, view all works by the author, delete the work, etc.).
* The middle tab is the "Favorites" tab by default, but you can switch to the "Update Date" tab, etc., by changing the sorting criteria.

■Backing Up Your Reading History
To back up your reading history and transfer it to another device, please follow the steps below.

① Your reading history will be saved in the mhenv/.yomou/ folder within the data storage folder of the source device.

② Copy the folders and files from the data storage folder to the data storage folder of the destination device.

*The folder to copy will vary depending on your YMO! settings. Please copy the data to the folder displayed in "Change Data Storage Location" in the settings.

*The default folder is inaccessible from anything other than YMO!. Please use a file manager that can obtain access permissions.

③ On the destination device, launch YMO! and select "Backup/Data Transfer" - "Restore Database from Saved File" from the menu. The copied data will be restored to the history.

■Transferring Reading History Between Devices
If you want to transfer your reading history to another device, please follow the steps below.

① On the destination device, launch YMO! and select "Backup/Data Transfer" - "Receive Data" from the menu to enter the receiving state.

② On the source device, launch YMO!, select "Backup/Data Transfer" - "Send Data" from the menu, enter the address displayed on the destination device, and then execute the data transfer.

*Transfer may take several hours to complete.
*Data transfer is only possible between devices on the same network.
