So what I've gathered is you can connect to the camera and the app OR you can record directly into the SD card and use your phone normally, but you CANNOT use both at the same time. At that rate I'd just use my phone to record. At least I can upload footage the old fashioned way.

The app works with my Samsung S9. Connects properly, but is next to impossible to use while riding my motorcycle. The screen constantly flips from landscape to portrait and back. So fast that I can't press the record or stop buttons.

Initially i was unable to connect to the camera even after disabling data, etc...all the steps that other ppl stated. I continued to receive the message that the device was not online, the card wasnt in, etc.. Finally, I decided to hit "shoot" first instead of looking for media files, and bam, it connected. Then, I was able to 'see' the files. I was able to take pics from my phone. How useful the app is or how well it works remains to be seen. Having trouble with playback.

After reading all these one star reviews I'm a little baffled. Other than needing to put my S9 plus into airplane mode and making sure I'm connected to the camera before launching the app everything seems to work as it should for me. The only exception to that is that I highly recommend you take at least one picture manually first and leave one in the camera memory at all times. There seems to be a glitch in this software if it doesn't find any files stored in the camera. This needs a fix.

Deserves ZERO stars. Like everyone else, the app can't connect to the camera. Totally useless. At least I can use the camera without the app

I'm yet another person that is giving this app 1 star. If there were negative or zero stars, that's what I'd give this app. I'm relatively tech savvy and patient, but I tried everything and nothing worked.I watched multiple videos, read all kinds of other tips and tricks and...nothing. It.Will.Not.Work.

Bought the action camera, it doesn't connect and doesn't show the videos or photos. App keeps shutting down 👎

So to get it to work turn off your mobile data, turn off your phone wifi then turn on the wifi again and you should see the camera's wifi (Sports-cameras). select that and type in the password on the camera and it should work. The main issue I have is that you can't stream from your phone, the app crashes as soon as you turn on mobile data again.

The camera takes a nice video but the app keeps crashing. Can anyone help???

App just does not function. Even with mobile data off/airplane mode on, it doesn't see any photos on my phone or device. I checked permissions and it has them. iSmart DV worked the first time with my Campark V40 even with mobile data on.
