The App is connected with a Barbecue Thermometer device (ET-735) by Bluetooth. The thermometer will send the temperature data from the temperature probe to the App of the Smart-phone for various functions as below： 1) Thermometer - Monitoring the temperature of the cooking / BBQ - Select different meat and taste with default Set Temperatures and customized Set Temperatures. - The App will provide the progress of the cooking. - The App will provide notification (sound and / or vibration) to user when target temperature is reached. - The App can display temperature in ℃ or ℉ and is user selectable. - Support at most 4 probes of thermometer and end user can assign different meats and tastes to individual probe for cooking purpose. 2) Timer - There are four channels of timers which assist the user for various cooking / BBQ purpose. - Each channel can be selected to work as up count or down count timer. - Count up timer is used for monitoring the duration of cooking activities. - Count down timer is used to set a target time for cooking. When the timer count down from target time to zero, the App will trigger a notification (Sound and / or Vibration) to user

Excessive permissions. Why does it need access to my location and photos?! It won't work if you don't enable access. Terrible. Will not be buying anything from Williams Sonoma again.

Went to use it for the second time. I was informed the file was corrupted. Uninstaller the app and reinstalled. It doesn't connect to my phone and I can't change any of the settings. Very dissatisfied.

Doesn't work in Android 10. Useless app. Update (8/29/20): I decided to check the app again to see if they fixed it and they have. Now it works on Android 10 (Pixel 2XL). Originally gave it 1 star, now 3. Would have been higher if it didn't need access to location and gallery.

It does not work. Do not buy this product. The Bluetooth doesn't connect. Tried it on two devices, an apple product and an Android. We got the Android device to connect and halfway through cooking Thanksgiving dinner, it disconnected. Sucks!

Terrible. I assumed if it actually worked or connected somehow to BT it might be OK from the pictures... But it does not connect and does not work so uninstalling. Don't waste your time. There are other products on the market that do work.

Won't connect on Android 10. It was always a hit-or-miss proposition connecting on Android 9, but at least it worked most of the time. Now - it's useless.

Got this app a year ago and it earned fine. I haven't used it for a while and went to use it. It wanted to use my location and I denied it, and the app closed. I restarted the app and chose deny and don't ask me again. Now the app won't open. It shouldn't require my location to work. So now I have removed the app. Too bad.

does not connect any longer, dosent look like its been updated in some time. when it did connect last season it was very spotty. looks like an android 4.0 app, very outdated and clunky. would not suggest to anyone.

Absolute joke of an app. Why does it need access to my location and photos to function? When I deny the app access it crashes on launch. Completely unusable.

App would not find device -- problem solved by restarting phone after downloading app! Solid basic app to simply do what it is supposed to.
