Wifi Hike will only save information about the networks it connects through the application. This way you can access this information at any time, and you don't need ROOT access on the device. Why does this app request location permission? Android introduced restrictions regarding permissions for Wi-Fi scans. That's why Wifi Hike needs the location permission in devices with Android 8 and higher.
