With 300 different types of items to be found, you will keep finding novel ways to deal with the 130 different types of monsters you will face on your journey! You have time to think, but this is no puzzler - you will have to use your weapons as much as your inventory. The procedurally-generated dungeon and vast array of possible items gives immense replay value. Some games you'll find a good weapon early, other times you'll rely on wands or potions, or some combination. Sometimes in sheer desperation you'll read a random unidentified scroll... will it be a scroll of fire that incinerates your clothes? Will it be a blessed scroll of teleportation for the ultimate escape? This game will show you a whole new form of the "roguelike" genre. It is as much about the journey as the destination. You will die frequently, but you will learn tricks that will help your next valiant attempt until you one day conquer the dungeon! When you get good enough to survive to 300 feet, you will be asked to upgrade your character to access the full dungeon. This is a one-off purchase for each type of character (for example, the sorcerer and sorceress are a single type - Evil Mages). The whole game can be played with any character - you only need to purchase your favourite character(s). This can also be seen/purchased in advance under Options/Store. Supports different controls tuned for phones, tablets, and Android TV gamepads. Some older versions are available from http://wazhack.com/android - please use one of these if the latest version doesn't perform well on an old or low-power device.

Hard to beat and impossible to master. Best nethack variant ever made. Period. Only game I've consistently played and kept installed since the first day I played it. If you enjoy challenging games that require critical thinking over reflexes this is the game for you. Still maintained over a decade later! Love ya WazWaz! Hope to see more updates in the future like new and deeper dungeons!

Amazing replayability and value... I've played WazHack, on and off, for years and it is still my favorite game on Android. Originally, I bought this game when it was a paid app (and only had 4 sets of characters) and once Google added in-app purchases, the game was made free and added new characters (4 more sets). I've played many games on Android, yet this one, one of the first games I downloaded (on my Motorola Atrix 4G HD), has stayed one of the best mobile games on the Play Store.

Been playing this daily for weeks, off and on for months. Easily one of the best, if not the best roguelikes with graphics ever.That's coming from someone who's been playing these types of games since the mid 90's, before the internet went public. Even with 100+ hours in this one I'm still finding new things. One can only hope Waz (the dev) will one day decide to implement some updated material into it. So yeah, do yourself a favor & unlock a class pair or two. It's a bargain for what you get!

Great game, a little difficult. Played other "hack" games I like this one best, I don't really like the pricing. I think it would be best with a one char. trial version, then pay for the rest instead of a buck for each pair of characters. I'd pay 5 bucks for all of them.... Then again I'm just hella poor☺️! Love Waz!!!

I've been playing this game on/off for a few years now and I always enjoy the mystery and challenge that each unique dungeon brings. I may find a ring of levitation and a +5 bladed bow and proceed to snipe everything from the ceiling, or get zapped at 200 ft down by a kobold shaman wielding a wand of death. I never know what to expect, and with the variety of classes available, the replayability is endless. I have no big complaints, I can't think of anything I'm dissatisfied with in this game.

My new favorite rouge like! Just as one reviewer said, it's a great way to play Nethack with out the typing. Each class has it's own challenges and way to play. Every new game has a new experience. I loved this so much that I just bought it on steam. Thanks WAZ!!

Good game botlles and stuff break I like stuff like that but can you make a mode where it's a temporary full free version like a hour for a ad or something like that

Keeps crashing! Played quite a few times and it seems like anytime I'm doing fairly well the game crashes and I have to force stop in order to restart. Wouldn't be a huge issue if this wasnt a die once and lose a character game. Game a crashed 3x now. I have a Samsung s10 e
