Wave is a simple asyncronous lab signal generator. It can generate sine, square and inverse sawtooth waveforms. You can control the signal's duration, frequency and amplitude. You can also define the DAC's working samplerate.
The inverse sawtooth waveform is generated by Fourier's series, so it can take long on older devices.
The signal can be used to test electronic circuits through the phone output.
CAUTION: playing very loud square or sawtooth signals can damage the device's speackers.
