Do you want to know where the nearest ecopoint is or where you can deposit your waste?
The most current version of Wasteapp allows:
1. Identify the nearest ecopoints and collection points.
2. Locate the existing collection points across the country on the interactive map.
3. Evaluate, make suggestions and report situations detected in the collection equipment you usually use.
4. Keep track of your assessments and reports in your user profile.
5. Add new collection points for recycling, donating or reusing waste that are not included in the Application.
6. Consult recycling statistics.
Your contribution is important to minimize the impact generated by the products we consume and allow for greater use and recycling of the waste we generate. Together we can promote more efficient use of resources, increase reuse and recycling towards a more circular economy.
Wasteapp is a Quercus project, developed in partnership with Sociedade Ponto Verde and Fundação Vodafone, which aims to inform citizens about the most sustainable destinations to give to the various types of waste generated in everyday life.
We add the offer of collection points for recycling or reuse throughout the national territory, including ecopoints, oil bins, electrical equipment delivery points, reuse initiatives, as well as the offer of services from Municipal Councils.
We actively collaborate with entities that manage waste in Portugal, whether public or private, and we empower citizens to be part of the solution in managing waste in their neighborhoods and communities.
