I have used this app for the last five years and two XC90s. Not the best app ever, but it worked. Until now. For the last month I've been unable to log in ("no Internet" apparently - funny, because I'm using the same device to write this review). To add insult to injury, we were told we'd get the first year of electricity for free, but the only way to claim it is through the app, and the offer expires soon. So the incompetent software engineers behind this are costing me several hundred pounds.

As someone in tech, it is time to reevaluate the current dev team. There has been no satisfactory progress on app development in the past few releases, all features for the app are not functional, and pretty much all Android customers are being affected. At this point, go back to the previous code or rebuild from scratch. For now, the application should be removed until fixed. Until there are improved reviews, I am personally uninstalling.

A lot of good features. Just came from a Toyota and their app faild to work most of the time, the Volvo app has worked every time. The trip history is a great feature, including adding categories. Sending destinations to the car is much faster than find in the car. Remote start with an adjustable timer is great. Appreciate all the features and polish in this app. Edit. Not sure what happened but this last version sucks. Frequently fails to log in. Never available when I've wanted to use it.

Totally useless. Aborts with a message saying there is no internet connection . I am still using the iPad version but with lots of measelinding information on charging times, locked/unlocked status, windows open/closed, etc.. There is a major problem on the development and testing capabilities of the software team. Volvo brand do not deserves this. Please act ASAP!

On the plus side the app does not crash. On the downside it does not tell me state of charge nor can I configure any settings. The climate controls don't work and I can't lock or unlock the doors. So a record setting 100% score in the "App with zero functionality" category. Pretty impressive in this day and age.

Really strange app. It's terribly slow. Sometimes we get logged out and not possible to logon, even after setting new password. On tab to set heat/climate Timers on the updated version there's nothing there! Only a text "Set a time when you want your Volvo ready", nothing happens when clicking that. So the only function we need the app for is not there! And for this we have to pay. Not ok!

Terrible app, the latest update has broken it completely. It seems to think I have no Internet connection all the time. Used my back button and ended up at the login screen, tried to login and ended up with a locked account..... Tried to reset password but password reset email failed to materialise ( and no it's not in spam....)

Latest release completely broke an often buggy app. Doesn't see my car, but also won't let me register it again. No worry though it can still give me notifications when it's unlocked. Disrespectful that Volvo can't put more effort into their app, it's never been smooth, but this is awful. Update: I was able to restore proper functionality after full uninstall and reinstall.

When i first connected to the volvo XC60 2022, only unlocking / locking was working, but not climate control. After re-installing the app, does not allow you to add a car in it, as the car itself indicates that the phone is already connected to Volvo on call. It also cannot be disconnected in the car.

Since the last update impossible to do anything. Shows the right things but I cannot lock the car remotely or set the heating on etc. It just shows the app trying to do what I have asked for but does nothing. Something is broken because it used to work just fine before.
