T-Mobile Voicemail keeps getting better and better! With Visual Voicemail you can listen to messages in any order, respond in one click, update your contacts, and easily manage your inbox without ever dialing into your voicemail. 

No need to change your T-Mobile voicemail number or to reconfigure your voicemail forwarding - Visual Voicemail activates for free at first launch. You can also upgrade to Voicemail to Text for a small monthly fee and receive all your voicemails transcribed into text directly in the application inbox, as an SMS message, or to an email address.

    98% of the time it does not work. I receive messages several days later. Continuously ask you to refresh but the refresh has no impact on its efficiency. You've had this app a long time, it's time for it to actually work. The same is true of your regular voicemail system. C'mon guys..why does it take so long to receive my voicemails.

    Completely garbage, barely ever functions, and every few days it turns off and I have to manually go back and turn it on, so frustrating. On that note I got a notification a minute ago for a call I was expecting, but its missing from both the visual voicemail box and when I call, but I know they left a message and saw the notification too. About 5 seconds away from dropping tmobile.

    It sure would be nice if the app associated with a service I lay extra for worked more than once or twice a month. It just tries to sync forever and only actually syncs once in a blue moon. It has been like this for years, on multiple phones, in multiple states and locations. Clearly T-Mobile doesn't care otherwise they would have fixed it by now.

    This app is so unstable. At one point when it was first introduced, the app was the BEST. Now it's like the longer I have it, the worse it gets. It's definitely not reliable. I've missed several important voicemails, plus I pay additional monthly, to have my messages transcribed. That's a waste of money when the app is consistently glitching and unable to retrieve messages. If it's not fixed soon, I will delete.

    Frustrating. It is supposed to create a text of voicemails. But is not consistent at converting messages to text which is BAD for a PAID service add-on. It is constantly being updated (it needs help) but updates come without warning to users. So users may wonder why they can't delete messages when the problem is an outdated app. And updating does not mean deleting works. Also, last I checked the in-app greeting settings control does not work properly. App software update warnings would be nice.

    05.02.2020 Still doesn't work... hasn't worked for me since April 1st and even then wasn't working without having to manually refresh it constantly... wish T Mobile would pay some attention to this app and their others that don't seem to work properly... they have no problems billing for services that don't work... they expect payment for a service that doesn't work... well I expect it to work before I submit payment... it should've always been that way... get it together or refund the payments

    Never seems to be able to connect and sporadically retrieves voicemails. A very poor substitute for integrating directly with Android's phone and voicemail platform. Would be nice to have transcriptions viewable directly in the app and not just navigating to the texts. With an iPhone on T-Mobile, you can see the transcription and play the audio all within the phone app. With the new resources acquired in the merger, they should be able to provide a better voicemail experience for Android users.

    Hate this. Most of the time it won't connect. It won't refresh/update/sync. The newest vm I show is the 1st week of April. My husband (same phone as mine) gets his vm's and text as well, hours...days after they were sent. He gets messages to "please refresh". It Will Not refresh. Come on T! Fix it already!! You have customers all over with visual voicemail screwing up.

    Junk service. Just signed up and activated the service. It won't allow me to set up visual text to email. It also doesn't transcribe to sms. You pay more to still get less. Tried all troubleshooting. See many more people have had the same issue. Junk.

    works as intended. its annoying that once you get a voicemail it dings at you four times but ill live with it. Edit: since the new update it doesnt tell you that a voicemail is there until hours later. Edit: it doesnt sync automatically after restart. Now it needs permission to your files and storage?!?! No!

    This app USED to be great. Now I don't get notified of voice-mails, it won't sync, I keep getting notifications stating "unable to retrieve voice-mail " I check a vm and it deletes automatically which is INCONVENIENT and a major glitch. Fix the app!!!!!!

    If it was based on the last two months I'd even give it lower cuz it constantly has problems You wouldn't think it would be that difficult but amazingly it seems to be for T-Mobile to turn a voicemail into a text seems to just boggle their engineers' brains how did you consistently without crashing every time repeated problem not reliable

    I opened this app and it asked me to enter a new pin, but no matter what pin I put in it keeps popping up an error that says "change_tui_pwd invalid old pin". But there isn't even a field to enter the old pin, it just has two fields to enter my new pin and to confirm it.

    I would give this app negative 5 starts if it were possible. Not one time had it worked properly. I continually get notifications saying it isn't working or can not sync and I have never once had a voicemail sent to me as a text or email. Very poor app!!

    Does not always sync properly with voicemail. You can have a voicemail the app does not show that you have any new ones. Then it might take several hours before it shows you have a voicemail.

    Enhanced caller ID? Bologna! Numbers not in your contacts list show up only as phone numbers. A.T.&T. owns the caller ID tech and everyone wanting to use it pay a fee, which no one wants to do. That's why we never see a name of incoming calls, though that information can be falsified.

    Darn thing several times a day has to post a stupid notification that it cant retrieve the messages, probably because service dropped out for a while 2 seconds. Please fix the annoying several times a day useless message. If I could take this -10 stars i would.

    More than half the time it says "we're having trouble FETCHING your voicemail". And it Rarely actuaply synchronizes. All the voicemails can be there when you call directly, even tho they were deleted from this app for weeks!

    It needs a lot of work I must agree with others, I see also a lot of times where it will alert you when there is no vm to be heard. It's a shame because if it worked properly it would be rather convenient.

    I have been getting a message that the voice-mail server cannot be accessed. This has been going on for weeks. I tried removing the app and reinstalling it and it made no difference. Can't access my voice mails.

    Doesn't properly sync. Doesn't refresh. I've attempted restarts and installing. No improvement. I even went to my VMB and deleted messages, after which the app still didn't sync properly. Pure Junk.

    This used to be a great app, but they keep finding ways to make it worse. The last several updates have all introduced new forms of dysfunction. The latest is that if I try to play back a message, I get a pop-up saying that when my device is muted the app needs additional permissions to play messages. It then wants me to give it permission to override do-not-disturb settings. The problem? My device is NOT muted. But I still can't play messages without granting the permissions. Ridiculous.

    Terrible, unfortunately. The voicemails arrive 14 days late, at which point I really have to apologize for not getting back to people. I don't know how to deactivate it and have changed my personal greeting to tell people not to leave messages. Very disappointed!

    Update of April 16 seems to be buggy. Allowed myself to update application, after that unable to access voicemail, server errors reported. Uninstalled application, reinstalled latest version, which was the same, same problem. Hoping this is actually a server problem at T-Mobile, not with the app. Timing suspicious. Otherwise, highly pleased with app.

    Requires permission to change Do Not Disturb settings in order to play any voicemail. I'm guessing this is for cases when someone forgets they turned on do not disturb and then thinks the app is broken because they can't hear it while it's playing a message. However it's inappropriate for an app to control that setting, it should just notify the user if they're attempting to play a voicemail while their device is muted.

    This update could NOT have come at a worse time. Im in the NICU with twin girls. I dont have signal where they are so the only way i know i have a missed call is if a visual voicemail pops up. I have no idea what is said on these voicemails because it says my app is muted when its not. And idk what anyone is calling about because they all use different phone numbers.

    Love tmobile.... Absolutely HATE this app. It's it the worst pos I have ever had to use. ALWAYS has connections issues. It's 5050 if I will get the actual voicemail in the app. There have been vm's that come in DAYS late. Navigation is amazingly terrible. Deleting voicemail sometimes doesn't work. The list goes on. This needs to be rebuilt from the ground up and whoever created this one needs to be fired.
