VINfo Vin Decoder Scanner

VINfo (by freewood) is a free full feature VIN decoder and scanner. Read and save vehicle identification numbers, decode VIN information for many makes and models of vehicles, save favorite or recently scanned VINs. This app displays results from the National Highway Transportation Safety Agency (NHTSA). Allows user to check the CARFAX results for a VIN.
NOTE: THIS APPLICATION IS DESIGNED FOR 16 DIGIT US VIN NUMBERS, IT WILL NOT READ OR DECODE OTHER FORMS OF VIN
NEW: This app will return maintenance information, recall information and safety information depending on the VIN you use and if this information is available for the specific vehicle.
VINfo is free and ad supported, however we have limited the full screen ads to only show when scanning a new VIN, all recent and favorite VIN checks are completed without ads. Additional maintenance and recall information will be provided with banner ads. There is no limit on VIN decodes, scan and decode unlimited VINs with this app.
Permissions:
CAMERA: We use the camera to scan barcoded VINs
NETWORK: We use the network to submit the VIN and get the decoded information
PHONE STORAGE: We use the storage to read/write a list of VINs if you chose to export and import them
PHONE STATE: We use this to ensure we can read/write preferences and save your list of VINs
C2D MESSAGE/RECEIVE: Firebase permission for ads/analytics
