Customers who are willing to have any new connection or load enhancement can see their status from this menu.

Register Complaint:

Existing customers can lodge complain as well as check complain status regarding various technical problems like No power,High Voltage,meter burnt,meter stopped etc. They can also lodge complain regarding the non-technical problems like High bill,Average bill etc.

For a govt app, i must say its good. I made my first payment today and went through smoothly. Unexpectedly good. Also last time i wrote complaint about this and it was attended. I know there are improvements needs to be done. But still if you see the positive side then its a nice app.. Thumbs up from my side guys


It makes viewing and payment of your w. b. s. e. d. c. l. bill very easy. Also it can be used to docket complaint for any power fault at your premises. It also provides a graphical representation of your consumption s compared to your previous year consumption. Provides a history of online payments of bills. It has made life so easy when it comes to issues related to electricity in West Bengal.


It is never up to date. The bill comes faster than the updation of data on the App. The App is too slow, has zero novelty and appears to be created by novices. Creating a good, helping, useful App is never the job of the internal IT team of such organisation. It should be thoroughly revamped by professionals and be made much more interactive.


Is really wow apps very easy & quickly response but small things like when we downloading bill. page was downloaded but why not save in phone? & one more thing u have to do when bill was paid then call to guest by wbsedcl sir/madam your bill is paid for confirmation


Totally useless app. It's work like a old back dated app. Complain service through this app functioning very poor. Bill payments copy is not provided on it. Usage graph is also improper. Monthly bill details are not provided as mentioned in hardcopy bill. Kindly grown-up. And don't disappoint your customers


26.02.18 : I was using the app since long and was very satisfied. Recently, I changed my mobile handset and now when I'm trying to login the app from my new handset, it is saying that it will send me an SMS in my registered mobile no. to verify but no SMS is coming even after days. It is frustrating. Is there any helpdesk available for the app?


5 times tried but failed to pay online through this app. Not only that through this app I can't even see the latest bill history whether it's paid or not. Its improving but require to improve more as no charge is deducted in the time of paying bills using other apps but it does. Another thing is no option is there to change or edit profile in this app.


Useless app.. no one monitors the complaints. If it is only for billing purpose then there are many ways I can pay bill online and some time may get cashback also. It's a waste of time.


Worst app ever! Every time trying to open is snowing "Sorry, failed to connect authentication database." What the hell is this? WBSEDCL can't even develop and manage their site properly. Trying to make payment over site, its showing a lot of servlet error. Can't pay using paytm and freecharge too. You guys are good for nothing. The only thing your old fashioned moustache engineers know is "go to cash counter and pay in queue." Horrible experience with WBSEDCL. Rest In Peace in advance to the company.


Its really helpful in making the payments at right time , avoiding the long que. Also I can check history whenever I want. No need to Keep hard records. Its good. We can even register complaint. Action is also quick!! Yes, WBSEDCL is upgrading!!


Whenever I am opening this app, it shows "sorry, failed to connect authentication database". I've gone through the reviews of other users with this similar problem too. The most disturbing fact is, the creators don't even bother to give any reply! It reflects not only their work culture but also a serious lack of sincerity. Sorry to say, I am uninstalling the app.


Could not even start this app. This bloody app wont even send sms to my phone needed to start functioning. Server problem , it says. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Same service ad that of wbsedcl itself. Any negative star option?


The service they are providing is horrible. I was trying to register complaint for more than one hour but unable to do so. Even their customers care no also not responding. No use of this type of service if your basic structure is missing...


Receipt is not available after payment. After paying the bill, no confirmation is available. Profile is not visible, after entering the meter number the profile appears and vanishes at a speed more than that of Shoib Akhtar... Pls address these issues. Otherwise, a good initiative. Thanks.


Kindly develop the application's Complaints menu. I have an Idea, to Improve.with attach Camera function Or any attachments can upload any where by public & your companies employee, for resolving issues. It's most helpfull & friendly service by you & your customer.


Good in general - as starting point. But lacks professionalism. For example, whatever language you choose, safety advise will come in bengali, energy conservation tips will always come in hindi. Connection failure is too frequent (that's better with Web interface). Payment confirmation failure is also too frequent.


Very bad app. There is a bug in the app. The payment history of two consumers cannot be seen simultaneously. Every time it switches to the first comsumer automatically. Developers please fix this issue


After the latest update the app repeatedly shows "authentication problem". Previously I've used it flawlessly. What's wrong with update. It makes force update and the result is pathetic. Pl solve the issue ASAP


Every month your appand website is down. Cannot download a simple bill. No one is there to address the issues of the website and the app. Worst app. Just see and take a lesson from cesc and their support. Shame on you wbsedcl


Very slow app... If you want to use the app or the website make sure you do it on an off day where you would have ample time to wait for the site to respond. In this era where it is all about speed and convinience this app and the website is sure embarrassing. I spent about 4 hours to actually make a transaction and now i have been waiting for about an hour for the transaction to reflect in the pre-paid device at home. Still waiting...


Useless and half-baked. High time to learn between what's yesterday and how's life today. Mindset ages behind the rest of the country in every terms. A showcase of dilapidated Bengal. Waiting for you guys to turn the tide.


The App is not working properly. Every time it asks to enter correct phone no, though it is correct. and there is no option to proceed. THE PROBLEM IS BEING FACED FOR LAST FEW MONTHS. DEVELOPMENT NEEDED.

Third class app. Whenever I am trying to enter it asks for my phone number and I give it. But then again it comes with an error message that SMS has not been delivered.


My complaint becomes closed by customer care without solving my problem. How they can close my complaint? There should be an option to complaint higher authority if customer care doesn't solve the problem. After complaint lodging customer care doesn't contact the customer , why?


This app is not at all useful.payment get way sucks. My bill amount got deducted but payment unsuccessful. And best part they don't take responsibility of refund or payment failure they don't have a complain section regarding this issue. And they ask to contact bank.this is ridiculous

No utility of the app. If the complain is lodged then it is not sorted with priority. There is no value of the consumers for WBSEDCL. They need to learn customer service from CESC.


This app is usable only for payment the bill.But other options made for advertisement and waste consumer's time. Customer support and complaint section is totaly flop. I think it was one kind of virtual relief. Every consumer happy to do They some thing do. Poor west bengal citizen....

Personal no and email id editing is next to impossible. Once a code sent, and somehow it not reached to new no, and there is no option to resend it. Really frustrating


I am unable to get OTP in my mobile. As a result I am unable to login since last 7 days. Already I reinstalled that app but my issue is not yet fix. Please resolve my issue at the earliest.


Since last couple of years, the billing charge has jumped a lot but the service and interruption in electricity did not change at all. The electric supply's and substation's ph no. is always dead or engaged as usual before 10 to 15 years and after numerous announced repair work, nothing has changed, it is really ridiculous. And, if anybody calls any technician out of office hours or even in office hours, they do their job with office products and becomes eager to beg or demand more money as so called 'Bakhsis' and threaten to not to come in late hours from next time, if anybody do not agree in the money matter. Thanks to WBSEDCL to offer us such a tremendous service.

My first payment and the app screwed it ... Payment pending and then failure even after the money had been deducted.... No proper complaint grevience cell dedicated to solve payment problems . I regret using this


really impressed by the performance of this app. very easy to operate. once i had to register a complaint about voltage fluctuation. and i did it via this app. i was contacted by electricity board personal within 60seconds and my issue was resolved within an 1hour. really appreciate their hard work.
