Description
VERS reveals the poems that are hidden in the world. Look for the poetry poets have made over the years over striking places, and find them where they were left behind.
Poets such as Arthur Japin, Hendrik Marsman and Ingmar Heytze have written poetry about specific places throughout the country. VERS places these poems in the right places, and makes them discoverable with GPS technology. Travel the places, read and listen to the poems in the places they go to, and add them to your constantly expanding collection.
Writers such as Ronald Giphart, Ida Gerhardt, Karel Eykman, Ingmar Heytze and Jeroen an Merwijk both present their own work as Hendrik Marsman, CCS Crone, JC Bloem and Nico Weber, and hundreds more. Every poem is also provided with context and explanations.
With VERS, location poems can be found, and people experience both the history of poetry and the history of the places they discuss.
