Nursing interventions is the Dutch translation of Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC). This app is based on the fourth, revised Dutch edition which again is a translation of the sixth American pressure.

The app provides a structured classification of nursing diagnoses and interventions. The main features of the NIC are:
• completeness: more than 550 interventions, of which 23 are completely new and 133 revised interventions;
• evidence based;
• developed from the existing practice;
• reflects current clinical practice and recent research;
• clear and clinically meaningful terminology;
• tested in the field;
• combined with the NANDA diagnoses (2012-2014 NANDA-I).
