I previously gave this app 5 stars but not any more. It is still middle politically and good info. But more and more stories are only for subscribers. And some you don't know until you open the story. Now they are hitting you up to subscribe and it is worse that if you join then the rate doubles. It is almost a pay for app. I am loosing interest fast.

The app does an excellent job of providing the latest news. The theme centers on getting busy people up to date on the latest news without intruding on the reader's more important priorities. I also subscribe to the NY Times and the Washington Post. I appreciate their in-depth reporting, but USA Today's app does a better job of telling me the latest developments as they happen.

I loved this app at first, but it has become ruined with all the advertising to become a subscriber. It started with click bait stories "for subscribers only" and now they have moved on to pop ups starting as soon as you open the app. I'm deleting it and will move on to some other news app.

Sad that now I have to uninstall it because of all the ads in the current version. There's pop-ups in stories that are not supposed to be for subscribers only and many times you click on an article only to find out that it's only for subscribers even though it wasn't mentioned in the thumbnail header. I've been using it for years and it was a great app until these changes somewhat recently

I added the subscription and while logged in I am still asked to subscribe when I click on an article. This very frustrating to my once favorite App used to keep up with the news. I am very disappointed.

WHY do you guys cause a full page subscribe now Ad to subscribe to this app and I'M already subscribed!!!!!,please stop it's destroying what used to be a good app and why am I paying 13 now instead of 4.99 and was notified clearly that as a long time subscriber that my cost is going to increase 250% to 12.99 and had no warming or clear indicator of this gross and severe increase in monthly costs.

First the paywall, then the constant aggressive popup ad campaign, now the free crosswords are locked. I miss the old set up. New crossword specific feed back is there is too much white light/space. Enable dark mode option for crossword puzzles.

When clicking account management, it doesn't take you to manage subscription. No where in the app can you manage your subscription. Don't hold users hostage.

Why does this app constantly prompt to pay a subscription ? I've seen it a good 50 times now, I'm well aware of it by now and close it, yet it continues to pop up.

More and more articles with click bait headlines or behind pay wall when it is ad supported already. Recurring pop up prompt to subscribe when browsing free articles was the last straw.
