Up in the Air

Learning can happen anywhere! In this episode of Charlie & Company, the “school zone” is a real-life air museum, the Air Zoo in the ‘zoo—Kalamazoo, Michigan, that is! Charlie and Miss Ellie, your “Anywhere Teacher,” take a tour as they begin to solve the “puzzle it out” question of the day. Joining the fun is Autumn Red Squirrel, and along the way she presents some lessons on telling time and thinking about time. What time of day do you wake up? Go to bed? Where are these times on a clock? Next it’s time for Levi Cottonwood to weigh in with activities that compare: biggersmaller, heavierlighter because he knows that comparecontrast and the words that go with it, are important skills for school success. The learning continues to take off as Nestor the Adventure Mouse introduces vocabulary words that will help little learner soar, as he focuses on things that fly: a hot-air balloon, drone, glider, and more.
