I couldn't be any happier with the app; it makes managing the network a breeze! That's saying a lot since I'm a newbie!!! Everything you need is at your fingertips or just a click away and you're in the main Unifi portal. Awesome equipment; a supportive community; and the list of options and capabilities make owning a Unifi network one of the best investments I've ever made! Definitely the sweet spot between expensive enterprise grade equipment and the all-in-one options from ISP's!!

The app has been revamped over the last couple of years, and it's largely good, if not quite on feature-parity for the previous version. Fine for casual use and light monitoring, but you won't be doing much config on it. I've noticed that my saved session times out *a lot* more often than it used to, which is pretty irritating since the advanced setting is now tucked behind a discovery wizard that I have to wait for it to fail before I can start logging in.

Great app for managing UniFi from anywhere. I used it to do the initial setup of a Dream Machine Pro with two switches and access points as well. I worked really well to get all the initial setup complete including firmware updates on the switches and APs. For more advanced tasks I use a computer and the web gui though.

Update- The Android App is 5 stars IMO. While there are a few things they could add (creating, managing user groups) and there's a bug making it impossible to manage the NETWORK SCHEDULE (for the 'kids' network to turn off/on automatically) But that's NOT a terrible bug. Being able to log in to the different locations is super

Trash. Barely works, sometimes. It's one of those "html interfaces are outdated. Just download our app!" and "Even you can be a network admin if there's nothing to administer" kind of scheme. And yes. I'm aware there's a Linux server. It doesn't work.

After the latest update, ONLY cloud login is possible, for logging into my own local LAN!... After having confirmed from support, that this is the new way of thinking at UI, remote-logins: the security nightmare by design, I, my family, all our clients and friends, all of us are selling this once so nice platform and won't look back. Have a look into Mikrotik, that's the way it should be done: secure, no InGress holes in the firewall needed, as it's the case with UI. R.I.P. you'll-be-quitting..

You don't get this app as an app, only because you have their hardware and need to configure it. First three hours setting up one wifi device and a flex mini was the worst. This app is half the problem. Managed to setup only the wifi, have it an SSID. Then tried to setup multiple SSID to vlan mapping. No chance app is to simplistic. Tried to download and use the app on PC. Over an hour to get the unified password to work. Whole ecosystem is the most painful I've ever worked with as an IT pro

Latest version offers no obvious way anymore to set up a standalone access point without cloud integration. Luckily I still had an install of the previous version around. This is a giant leap back.

Thank you for this app, I loved this. But now I have issues. E.g. the workspace changing is quite ugly, the session handover from UniFi Portal to UniFi Network and UniFi Protect app doesn't work. + the killing AR feature is still missing from this app on Android. + I suggest, the direct speed testing page in this app should be changed to a WiFiman link.

Needs a way to see all blocked devices. I now cannot manage my UDM PRO at all from the app or the web. It does not show up as a device. Also, most of the time when logging in it tells me incorrect credentials. I use a password manager so I know I'm entering it correctly. I was considering ubiquiti for my company but I can not have this happen in a professional setting.
