This enables the FDFA to inform you about the current situation on the ground and the options available for leaving a crisis-affected area. - Customise the practical checklists to meet your specific travel requirements. - Prior to your trip, you should also consult the FDFA's travel advice – available directly on the app. The FDFA's country-by-country travel advice provides safety and security assessments, focusing on the political situation and crime, and general recommendations for travelling abroad. - The app also gives you instant access to the address, contact details and website of the nearest Swiss representation, enabling you to contact it directly by phone, Skype or email. - The app provides worldwide access to a country's emergency services numbers (fire brigade, police, ambulance) directly from your mobile phone's home screen. - The app also offers information and services from private sector partners on travel-related topics, such as Swiss news, mobility tips, and medical emergency contacts abroad.
