Description
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This app is NOT free, you can download for free to do limited test. For full functionality you must subscribe to full version from main menu. This app should be used with Google TalkBack turned on.
Telelight is first and most accessible unofficial Telegram for visually impaired, both blind or low-sighted.
Telelight has been in active development since 2018 and contains accessibility optimizations to current Telegram features, plus extra features. Telelight is developed in close interaction to tens of visually impaired to be designed based on their needs. Each release goes through tons of debugging by beta testers to deliver a quality software.
Telelight's novel design allows faster navigation through messages and customization by user. Each message detail spoken, can be solely turned on/off and reordered inside app.
Some features are:
- Optimized accessibility of hundreds of UI elements & flows, including: download/upload status and percentage, sent status, message types, file sizes, view numbers, time and calendars, etc.
- Read all message text by one swipe instead of swiping parts separably. Allows for faster and smarter navigation through messages. The access to mentions, links, hashtags, buttons, etc in message's text, is provided through long press menu.
- "Customize Messages" menu to personalize what info and in which order, should be read for a message inside chat.
- "Customize Chats" menu to personalize what info and in which order, should be read for a chat row inside chat list.
- "Professional Audio Controls" for voice/music playback. "Fast Forward" and "Fast Backward" buttons to skip by 10 percent or hold to seek. "Slower", "Faster" buttons to play them as fast as 3X and as slow as 0.3X.
- "Professional Microphone" to add an "Echo" effect or change voice speed (with same pitch) or change pitch (with same speed) of voice, before sending it.
- Add up to 10 accounts, instead of 3 limit of Telegram.
- "Legal Ghost Mode" to preview messages in full-screen view, without other party knowing.
- Login to Telegram with your owned bot (no phone number) !!! Instructions for this feature is in login page. Use your bot as a support service without needing a server, plus other use-cases.
- "Categories" filter as a button everywhere! Quickly filter your current chat list by different types including: "Channels", "Groups", "Bots", "Chats", "Secret Chats", "Send-able". Works independently in each tab view.
- "Quick switch" button for quickly switching to next account.
- "Forward without quote" button. Hides the source your are forwarding from and you can edit the message. A must have for channel admins!
- "Go to Replied Message" button in message's long-press menu.
- Know other party's online status on chats list (no need to enter each chat).
- All links, mentions and hashtags of the bio sections are clickable through long press menu.
- Added Copy, Paste, etc to local context menu while in message edit box.
- "Advanced Options" menu to turn on/off each extra feature of Telelight.
- Option to not auto play next voice message.
- Option to not show instant camera and recommended items in attach panel, allowing easier navigation.
- Option to play beep sound before/after recording voice.
- Option to announce the percentage of current download/upload every 10 percent, while in same chat.
- Option to auto focus on edit box when entering a chat for extra convenience.
- Option to use Jalali calendar instead of Gregorian.
- More accessible layout on: "send/play video", "search results", "recent activity" and "media, links section".
