Təfsir - İbn Kəsir (1-21)

This translation that we have is an abridged version of Ibn Kathir's book "The Exegesis of the Glorious Qur'an" by Ahmad Shakir. The work contains the reasons for the revelation of the Qur'anic verses, explanations through other verses, interpretations with hadiths and other useful information. For this reason, the book is intended for a wide readership.

Imaduddin Ibn Kathir al-Damasqi was one of the most prominent scholars of the 14th century and wrote many useful works. The most famous of them is the book "Tafsir of the Glorious Qur'an". This book is one of the best and most accurate interpretations among books of interpretation. So, while interpreting the verses, the author first interpreted the Qur'an with the Qur'an as much as he could. Then he recorded the words of his predecessors (companions and their followers) with authentic hadiths explaining the Qur'an, and then about the verse. Ibn Kathir's book of interpretation teaches the reader the science of hadith in addition to interpreting the verses. In this regard, the book is very important.
